유아교육연구에 나타난 유아의 ‘몸’에 대한 담론 연구: 생태적 몸 담론으로의 전환 모색

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육연구에 나타난 유아의 몸에 대한 담론을 살펴보기 위하여 체계적 문헌고찰을 실시하였으며, 수집된 49편의 연구물을 사회문화적 맥락에 근거하여 해석하고, 관련 분석에 근거하여 새로운 담론을 제안하는 담론 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 유아교육연구에 나타난 유아의 몸에 대한 담론은 ‘생물학적인 몸’, ‘만남과 배움의 매개가 되는 몸’, ‘의미를 생성하는 몸’, ‘복합적 맥락이 얽힌 몸’, ‘생을 지속하는 건강한 몸’으로 의미화되고 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 새로운 몸 담론의 모색으로 첫째, 교육의 매개체를 넘어 교육의 목표가 되는 몸으로, 둘째, 인식하는 몸을 넘어 자생(自生)하는 몸으로, 셋째, 개인을 넘어 온생명으로 이어진 생태적 몸으로의 전환을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 몸을 보는 관점에 있어 공간적 담론에서 시간적 담론을 포함하고자 하였으며, 현 유아교육에서 몸 담론이 인식론적 관점에 치우쳐 있음을 살펴보고 생명론적 관점으로 재조명해보게 한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 특히 생태적 몸에 대한 관점의 제안은 윤리적 몸 담론으로의 계기를 마련하며, 미래유아교육의 방향을 제안한다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 있다.

영문 초록

This study entailed a systematic literature review on body discourse on young children in early childhood education research, Forty-nine research articles were collected and interpreted based on the sociocultural contex. This paper proposes a new discourse based on analytical findings that. Revealed that body discourse on young children in early childhood education research refer to a 'biological body', a 'body that serves as a medium for encounter and learning', a 'body that creates meaning', a 'body with complex contexts', and a 'healthy body that sustains life'. This paper proposes the following guidelines towards new body discourse: first, a transition from discourse that refers to a body that is a medium of education to discourse that positions education as a goal; second, a transition from a body that recognizes to a body that self-generates; and third, a transition from an individual to an ecological body that connects to all life. This study sought to include temporal discourse in spatial discourse regarding the perspective of viewing the body. . Its significance lies, in its revelation of the current body discourse in early childhood education as biased towards an epistemological perspective and its re-examination of the body from a life-theoretic perspective. Moreover, its proposal of an ecological body provides an opportunity for ethical body discourse and suggests a future direction for early childhood education.
