국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학원 비교과 프로그램에 대한 재학생의 요구를 분석하고, 전공계열별 요구도의 차이를 확인하여 수요자 중심의 맞춤형 비교과 프로그램 개발과 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 A대학교 일반대학원에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 2024년 10월 10일부터 18일까지 온라인으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 설문 응답자 중 총 314명의 응답이 분석에 활용되었다. 수집한 데이터는 t검정, Borich 요구도 공식, The Locus for Focus(LF) 모델을 활용하여 각 항목에 대한 우선순위를 단계적으로 도출하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학원 비교과 프로그램 요구 조사의 모든 항목에서 필요 수준의 평균이 현재 수준의 평균보다 높게 나타났으며, 이는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 확인되었다. Borich 요구도 분석 결과, 대학원 재학생들은 ‘학과별, 전공별 특성이 반영된 비교과 프로그램 운영’과 ‘전공별 필요한 비교과 프로그램에 대한 로드맵 제공’에 높은 요구를 보였다. 둘째, Borich 요구도 분석과 LF 모델 결과를 모두 고려하여 최우선으로 고려해야 할 요구 항목으로는 ‘학생들의 의견이 반영된 비교과 프로그램 운영’, ‘학과별, 전공별 특성이 반영된 비교과 프로그램 운영’, ‘비교과 프로그램 활동에 충분한 재정적 지원’, ‘비교과 활동 참여에 대한 혜택 제공’으로 나타났다. 셋째, 전공계열에 따른 학생들의 요구 분석 결과 최우선 순위 항목에 큰 차이는 발견되지 않았으나, 차순위로 고려해야 할 항목에서는 일부 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze graduate students' needs for extracurricular programs and examine differences by academic discipline to support the development of tailored, student-centered programs. To achieve this, an online survey was conducted among graduate students at A-University in Seoul from October 10 to 18, 2024, and 314 valid responses were analyzed. The collected data were analyzed using t-tests, the Borich Needs Analysis formula, and the Locus for Focus(LF) model. The results are as follows: First, in the needs assessment for graduate extracurricular programs, the perceived necessity for all items in the needs assessment was significantly higher than the current level. Borich's analysis indicated high demand for ‘operating extracurricular programs reflecting department- and discipline-specific characteristics’ and ‘providing a roadmap for extracurricular programs tailored to each discipline’. Second, considering both Borich's analysis and the LF model results, the top-priority needs were ‘operating extracurricular programs reflecting student opinions’, ‘operating extracurricular programs reflecting department- and discipline-specific characteristics’, ‘providing sufficient financial support for extracurricular program activities’ and ‘offering benefits for participating in extracurricular activities’. Third, while the highest-priority needs showed little variation across disciplines, some differences were observed in secondary priorities.
