초등 실과 교과서 ‘창의적 제품 만들기’ 단원의 기술적 문제해결 과정 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 실과 교과서에 제시된 <창의적 제품 만들기> 소단원의 기술적 문제해결 단계와 내용을 교수-학습 모형 관점에서 비교 분석하는 데 있었다. 이를 위해 분석 틀을 마련하고 2015 개정 교육과정이 적용된 초등학교 6학년 실과 검정 교과서 6종의 내용을 분석하였다. 이를 초등교사 면담을 통해 내용 검토 및 현장 의견을 받아 질적으로 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 실과 교과서 6종 모두에서 <창의적 제품 만들기> 소단원은 기술적 문제해결 과정을 적용하고 있었지만, 쪽수와 수업 차시 등 양적인 비중이나 세부 단계 구성에서 차이를 보였다. 둘째, <창의적 제품 만들기> 소단원의 기술적 문제해결 과정은 4단계로 구성하고 있지만, 교과서마다 단계의 명칭이나 활동의 초점이 달랐다. 셋째, <창의적 제품 만들기> 소단원의 내용을 기술적 문제해결 단계별로 심층 분석한 결과, 문제의 종류와 구조화 정도, 해결책 탐구를 위한 아이디어 발산과 수렴 과정, 해결책 실행 과정의 구체성 수준, 평가의 방법과 포괄성 등에서 차이를 보였다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 초등학생의 기술적 문제해결 역량 향상의 관점에서 초등학교 실과 수업의 개선, 교수-학습 모형의 정교화, 그리고 후속 연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the technical problem-solving stages and contents of the sub-unit of elementary school practical arts textbooks from the perspective of a teaching-learning model. To this end, an analysis framework was established and the contents of six elementary school 6th grade practical arts textbooks were analyzed. The contents were reviewed and field opinions were collected through interviews with elementary school teachers and analyzed qualitatively. The main research results are as follows. First, although the sub-unit applied the technical problem-solving process in all six elementary practical arts textbooks, there were differences in the quantitative proportions such as the number of pages and lessons and the composition of detailed stages. Second, although the technical problem-solving process of the sub-unit was composed of four stages, the names of the stages and the focus of the activities were different in each textbook. Third, as a result of an in-depth analysis of the contents of the sub-unit by technical problem-solving stage, there were differences in the types and degree of structuring of the problems, the process of generating and converging ideas for exploring solutions, the level of specificity of the solution implementation process, and the evaluation method and comprehensiveness. Based on this analysis, suggestions were made for improving elementary school practical arts classes, refining teaching-learning models, and conducting follow-up research from the perspective of enhancing elementary school students' technical problem-solving skills.
