영아반 교사의 개인적·환경적 변인에 따른 민감성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사의 개인적 변인(연령, 최종학력, 자격유형, 교육경력)과 어린이집의 환경적 변인(기관유형, 담당 영아 연령, 담당 영아 인원)에 따른 영아반 교사의 민감성의 차이를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 지역의 영아전담전문교육과정에 참여한 보육교사 중 영아반을 담당하는 보육교사 382명이며, 영아반 교사의 민감성 측정 도구는 민광미(2014)가 개발한 영아반 교사용 민감성 척도를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 교사의 개인적 변인(연령, 최종학력, 자격유형, 교육경력) 중 자격유형과 교육경력에 따라 영아반 교사의 민감성은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집의 환경적 변인(기관유형, 담당 영아 연령, 담당 영아 인원) 중 기관유형에 따라 영아반 교사의 민감성은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 교사의 개인적 변인과 어린이집의 환경적 변인 중 자격유형, 교육경력, 기관유형이 영아반 교사의 민감성에 영향을 미치는 요소임을 알 수 있다. 이는 영아반 교사의 민감성을 향상시키기 위해서는 민감성을 높이고자 하는 개인의 부단한 노력과 어린이집 근무환경의 질적인 개선이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to investigate the differences in the sensitivity of infant teachers based on their demographics (age, final educational background, qualification type, educational experience) and their environment (institution type, infant age, infant personnel in charge). The subjects of this study were 382 infant teachers who were in charge of infants and child-care teachers who participated in the special education program for infants in the Gyeonggi province. The sensitivity measure for teachers was developed by Min kwang - mi (2014). The results of this study were as follows. First, the sensitivity of the infant teachers and the children was found to be statistically significant according to the qualification type and educational experience from among the teachers’ demographics (age, final education, qualification type, education experience). Second, there was a statistically significant difference in the sensitivity of infant teachers according to the type of institution from among the environmental variables for the daycare center (institution type, infant age, infant personnel in charge). These results show that the type of qualification, educational experience, and type of institution from among the teachers’ demographics and environmental variables for the day care center are factors affecting the sensitivity of infant teachers. These results suggest that constant improvement in sensitivity and in the nursery work environment are needed to improve the sensitivity of infant teachers.
