국문 초록

이 연구는 가족인 조부모와 부모, 그리고 학생이 함께할 수 있는 학교 밖 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 조사 대상은 H공예건축학교의 전통공예 교육 단기강좌를 수료한 수강생 120명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구의 주요 결과로 첫째, 전통공예 교육은 전수교육관, 시·도지원 출연기관, 공예창작지원센터, 평생교육기관에서 다양한 종목이 운영되고 있다. 둘째, 조사 응답자의 배경 변인을 살펴보면 나이는 부모와 조부모 세대, 직업군은 토요일과 야간에 시간이 많고, 최종 학력은 인터넷 홍보가 가능하고, 수강 이유는 흥미, 기술 수준은 초보, 수료 후 하는 일은 취미활동으로 학교 밖 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램의 탐색 조건을 충족한다. 셋째, 학교 밖 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램은 토요일 운영, 실기교육 위주로 실습재료와 도구를 잘 갖추고, 교육 기간과 실습 시간 배정의 균형이 필요하다. 제언으로 첫째, 가족인 조부모와 부모, 그리고 학생이 함께하는 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램을 탐색함으로써 세대 간 소통 증진과 격차 해소, 그리고 가족 간 유대 강화를 이룰 수 있다. 둘째, 가족이 함께하는 학교 밖 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램은 지역사회 문화기관과 연계해야 한다. 셋째, 학교에서 운영되고 있는 방과후학교 프로그램과 비교하여 차별화된 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램을 개발해야 한다. 넷째, 디지털 기반의 인프라 고도화를 통해 학교 밖 전통공예 방과 후 프로그램의 학습환경을 개선해야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore extracurricular traditional crafts programs outside of school that can involve grandparents, parents, and students together. The study targeted 120 participants who completed short-term traditional crafts courses at H Craft and Architecture School. The main findings of the study are as follows: First, traditional craft education is offered in various formats at transmission education centers, city and provincial support institutions, craft creation support centers, and lifelong learning institutions. Second, the demographic characteristics of respondents indicate that the program is suitable for parents and grandparents with available time on Saturdays and evenings, individuals with internet literacy, and beginners interested in traditional crafts for leisure activities. Third, effective extracurricular programs for traditional crafts outside of school should focus on practical training, be equipped with necessary materials and tools, and maintain a balanced schedule between the duration of the program and practice hours. The study suggests the following: First, programs involving grandparents, parents, and students in traditional crafts can enhance intergenerational communication, bridge generational gaps, and strengthen family bonds. Second, such programs should be integrated with community cultural institutions. Third, it is necessary to develop traditional crafts programs that differentiate themselves from existing after-school programs. Finally, digital infrastructure should be enhanced to improve the learning environment for extracurricular traditional crafts programs outside of school.
