중학교 『생활 중국어』의 ‘了’ 분석과 교육상의 제언

국문 초록

현대중국어의 조사 ‘了’는 그 사용 빈도가 높고 의미 기능이 매우 복잡하여 중국어를 학습하는 학습자에게 있어 큰 어려움 중 하나이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 연구자들이 연구를 진행하였지만, 대부분의 연구가 고등학교 교과서에 국한되어 진행되었다. 그리하여 본고는 중학교의 중국어 교육과정과 교과서 『생활 중국어』에서 제시된 ‘了’가 어떠한 양상을 띠고 있는지 분석하고자 한다. 분석 결과, 세 가지의 논의를 찾았다. 첫째, 교과서 편찬의 기초가 되는 교육과정에서는 다양한 ‘了’의 의미와 기능이 제시되어 있는데 현행 교과서 『생활 중국어』에는 ‘了2’에 편중되어 제시되고 있다. 둘째, 대부분의 교과서에 어법 설명이 부재하다. 셋째, 교과서 어휘 설명이 불명확한 경우가 있다는 것이다. 본고에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고 학습자로 하여금 ‘了’에 대한 이해를 높이기 위한 방법으로 다음 세 가지를 제언하고 있다. 첫째, 교과서에 충분한 어법 설명과 다양한 예문을 제시하는 것이다. 또한 동일한 문장에서 ‘了1’과 ‘了2’를 사용하게 되면 각각 의미가 어떻게 달라지는지를 제시하는 것이다. 둘째, 각 본문에 ‘了’에 대한 다양한 예문을 제시하는 것과 이미 배웠던 ‘了’를 다른 과의 본문에서 반복적으로 제시하여 학습자에게 다양한 ‘了’의 의미와 기능을 복습할 기회를 제공하는 것이다. 셋째, 교육과정 상에서 학년에 따른 교육 내용을 재구성하여 각 학년에 따라 교과서별로 점층적·단계적으로 제시하는 것이다.

영문 초록

The modern Chinese particle ‘了’, because of its high frequency of use and complex semantic functions, has become a major difficulty for Korean learners in the process of learning Chinese grammar. In order to solve this problem, many scholars have done a lot of research on it. Unfortunately, most of the research is limited to high school textbooks. Therefore, this study will investigate the ‘了’ proposed in the middle school education curriculum and textbook 『생활 중국어』. Through detailed analysis, this study finds out three problems. First, In the curriculum, which is the basis of textbook compilation, various meanings and functions of ‘了’ appear, but in current textbooks, only ‘了2’ is presented biasedly. Second, grammar explanations are insufficient in most textbooks. Lastly, some vocabulary descriptions appearing in textbooks are inappropriate. Aiming at these problems, this paper proposes the following solutions. First, appropriate supplementary grammar and vocabulary explanations in textbooks, adding ‘了1’ and ‘了2’ in the same sentence to explain and specifically explain the difference between them. Second, by citing various examples in textbooks, the explanation in detail is required the various functions of ‘了’. In addition, ‘了’ is repeatedly emphasized in the textbook, so that learners can review the various meanings and functions of ‘了’. Lastly, in the process of education, the content of education is reconstructed according to the level of the grade to make it relevant.
