한·중 식물명의 同義詞 고찰 - 봄 花草木을 中心으로

국문 초록

어떤 하나의 명칭이 시대에 따라서 사람에 따라서 달리 불리는 경우가 많다. 꽃과 관련한 식물명칭도 예외는 아닌데, 같은 식물이지만 넓은 나라에서 각 지역마다 다르게 불리기도 하고, 긴 역사의 흐름에 따라 명칭이 변하기도 한다. 그리고 외래문화의 유입으로 인한 새로운 명칭이 생기기도 한다. 만일 식물명칭에 관한 지식이 없다면 이름이 다르다고 다른 식물로 착각할 수도 있다. 하지만 같은 식물을 다르게 부르는 것뿐이다. 문학작품 속에서도 이런 현상이 자주 발생한다. 그리하여 필자는 봄꽃나무를 중심으로 문학 작품 속에서 자주 보이는 식물명칭의 동의어를 찾아보고 정리하였다. 한국에서는 한국의 고유명칭이 있기도 하지만, 중국문화의 유입으로 인한 한자 이름도 많다. 이것은 문학작품 속에서 불리는 명칭, 의학에서 사용하는 약재명, 그리고 식물도감에서 규정하고 있는 정식 명칭이 같거나 다르기도 하다. 수많은 식물 명칭 중에 봄에 화려하게 피는 개나리, 목련, 진달래, 복숭아, 작약 등을 중심으로 고찰하였다.

영문 초록

A name is often called differently depending on the times and people. The name of a plant related to flowers is no exception. but it is the same plant, but it is called differently in each region in a wide country, and the name changes with the flow of long history. In addition, a new name may be created due to the inflow of foreign culture. If you do not have knowledge of plant names, you may be mistaken for another plant because the name is different. But it's just calling the same plant differently. This phenomenon often occurs in literary works. Thus, I searched for and organized synonyms for plant names that are often seen in literary works, focusing on spring flower trees. In Korea, there are Korean names, but there are also many Chinese names due to the influx of Chinese culture. This is the same or different name as the name called in literary works, the name of the medicine used in medicine, and the official name stipulated in the plant guide. Among the numerous plant names, the focus was on forsythia, magnolia, azalea, peaches, and peony that bloom splendidly in spring.
