국문 초록

20세기 50년대 초반 시작된 지식청년 상산하향운동은 전 중국을 휩쓴 비이성적 사회적 실천으로서 조선족 여성을 포함한 전 중국 여성에게 깊은 영향을 미쳤다. 본고는 중국 조선족 여성 작가 리혜선의 소설을 연구 대상으로 그의 소설 속, ‘집체호’서사에 초점을 맞춰 조선족 여성 문학에 나타난 역사적 트라우마를 집중적으로 고찰하였다. 리혜선의 대표작 ｢빨간 그림자｣, ｢생명｣, ｢상해이모｣ 등에 대한 분석과 트라우마 이론을 결합하여, 특수한 역사 시기 여성 지식청년들이 여성이라는 성 정체성으로 인해 겪었던 신체적 및 정신적인 이중적 수난사를 밝히고자 한다. 리혜선의 집체호 서사는 단순한 수난의 재현을 넘어, 문학적 표현을 통해 트라우마의 해소와 역사적 성찰을 이루는 상징적 치유 실천으로 기능한다. 본고는 당시 중국 전역을 휩쓸었던 정치적 동란의 와중에 비정상적 권력 구조 아래서의 여성들의 생존 환경에 대한 이해를 심화시킴과 동시에, 조선족 여성 문학의 역사적 트라우마 연구에 새로운 시각을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

Beginning in the early 1950s, the Up to the Mountains and Down to the Countryside Movement (shangshan xiaxiang yundong) compelled intellectual youth to participate in an irrational social practice. It spread across China and had a profound impact on Chinese women, including Korean-Chinese women. Thus, this study examines the novels of Korean-Chinese author Lee Hyeseon, focusing on her collective household (jitihu) narratives to investigate historical trauma in Korean-Chinese women’s literature. Combined with trauma theory, analysis of Lee Hyeseon’s representative works, including “Red Shadow,” “Life,” and “Shanghai Aunt,” reveals the dual forms of suffering—physical and psychological—endured by female intellectual youth during this historical period as a result their gender identity. Lee Hyeseon’s collective household narratives transcend mere representation of suffering, functioning as symbolic healing practices that address trauma and reflect history through literary expression. The study provides a deeper understanding of women’s conditions of survival under abnormal power structures during the political turmoil in China, while also offering new research perspectives on historical trauma in Korean-Chinese women's literature.
