국문 초록

본 연구는 디지털 전환 시대의 정보 과잉 환경 속에서 전통문화 콘텐츠의 의미 있는 유통과 경험적 확산을 실현하기 위한 전략으로서, 스토리텔링 기반 콘텐츠 큐레이션의 이론적 틀과 실천 가능성을 심층적으로 탐색한다. 큐레이션은 단순한 정보 배열을 넘어, 분절된 문화 데이터를 내러티브화하고 사용자 중심의 감성적 경험으로 재구성하는 지식 매개방식으로 진화하고 있으며, 이는 디지털 인문학의 핵심 과제로 부상하고 있다. 본 연구는 대표적인 전통문화 플랫폼인 한국국학진흥원의 ‘스토리테마파크’, 한국유교문화진흥원의 ‘충청국학 디지털아카이브’, 지역문화교류호남재단의 ‘광주역사문화자원스토리텔링’을 분석 대상으로 삼아, 각 서비스의 큐레이션 구조, 정보 조직 원리, 사용자 경험 설계 방식을 비교·검토하였다. 이를 바탕으로 콘텐츠 분류의 체계화, 스토리 요소의 메타데이터화, 시맨틱 기술 기반의 의미망 설계, 알고리즘 기반맞춤형 큐레이션, 감성적 UX 설계 등 구체적 전략을 제시한다. 본 논문은 큐레이션이 단순한 정보의 중계 기능을 넘어, 전통문화의 해석 가능성과 사회적 확산성을 증진시키는 서사적 구조화 메커니즘으로 기능할 수 있음을 규명하며, 디지털인문학적 실천의 확장 가능성을 제시한다.

영문 초록

This study explores the theoretical framework and practical applicability of storytelling-based content curation as a strategic approach to the meaningful dissemination and experiential expansion of traditional cultural content in the era of digital transformation and information overload. Curation has evolved beyond the simple arrangement of information to function as a knowledge mediation method that re-narrativizes fragmented cultural data and reconstructs it into emotionally engaging, user-centered experiences—an emerging core agenda within the field of digital humanities. This study examines the curation structures, information organization principles, and user experience design strategies of three representative platforms: the Story Theme Park by the Korean Studies Institute, the Digital Archive of Chungcheong Regional History by the Institute of Korean Confucian Culture, and the Gwangju Historical and Cultural Resource Storytelling platform by the Regional Cultural Exchange Honam Foundation. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes concrete strategies including the systematization of content classification, metadata-driven storytelling elements, semantic network design, algorithm-based personalized curation, and affective UX design. Ultimately, this research demonstrates that content curation can function not merely as an intermediary tool for information delivery, but as a narrative structuring mechanism that enhances the interpretability and societal dissemination of traditional culture. In doing so, it presents a pathway toward the expanded practice of digital humanities.
