영화제가 지역공동체 활성화에 미치는 영향연구: 전주가족영화제를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 전주가족영화제가 지역공동체 활성화에 기여하는 방식을 분석한다. 현재 대한민국은 인구절벽으로 인한 지역소멸 위기에 직면해 있으며, 가족 개념의 변화와 가족복지기능 약화가 그 원인 중 하나로 지목된다. 이러한 상황에서 지역공동체는 가족복지기능의 공백을 보완하는 역할을 수행하고 있다. 전주가족영화제는 네 가지 주요 공동체와 협력하여 지역사회 활성화에 기여한다. 첫째, 가족공동체는 자녀들이 제작한 영화를 함께 관람하고 FV 프로그램과 가족특강을 통해 소통함으로써 활성화된다. 둘째, 가족지원공동체인 전주시건강가정지원센터와 전주시다문화가족지원센터는 영화제와 MOU를 체결하고 가족특강과 다문화 공연 등을 통해 참여한다. 셋째, 교육공동체는 전북특별자치도교육청의 교육감상과 지역대학 총장상 수여, 미디어센터의 작품 출품을 통해 학생들에게 성장 기회를 제공한다. 넷째, 문화공동체는 완주문화재단의 ‘예술농부’ 시리즈 상영과 ‘함께 그리는 꿈’의 후원 활동을 통해 문화예술의 저변을 확대한다. 전주가족영화제는 이처럼 다양한 공동체 간의 연결고리 역할을 함으로써 개별 공동체의 발전과 네트워크 구축을 통한 지역사회의 통합적 발전에 기여하고 있다. 이는 단순한 문화행사를 넘어 지역공동체 활성화의 중요한 플랫폼으로서 영화제의 역할을 보여주는 사례이다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes how the Jeonju Family Film Festival contributes to the revitalization of local Gemeinschaft. South Korea currently faces a crisis of regional extinction due to population decline, with changing family concepts and weakened family welfare functions cited as contributing factors. In this context, local Gemeinschaft are playing a role in supplementing the gaps in family welfare functions. The Jeonju Family Film Festival contributes to Gemeinschaft revitalization by collaborating with four major Gemeinschaft groups. First, family Gemeinschaft are activated through watching films produced by their children and communicating through FV programs and family lectures. Second, family support Gemeinschaft, such as the Jeonju Healthy Family Support Center and the Jeonju Multicultural Family Support Center, participate through MOUs, family lectures, and multicultural performances. Third, educational Gemeinschaft provide growth opportunities for students through the North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province Education Superintendent's Award, local university presidents' awards, and media centers' film submissions. Fourth, cultural Gemeinschaft expand the base of cultural arts through screenings of Wanju Cultural Foundation's “Art Farmer” series and sponsorship activities by “Dreams Drawn Together.” By serving as a link between these diverse Gemeinschaft, the Jeonju Family Film Festival contributes to the development of individual Gemeinschaft and the integrated development of local society through network building. This case demonstrates the role of the film festival as an important platform for revitalizing local Gemeinschaft beyond simply being a cultural event.
