판소리 춘향가 중 ‘어사와 장모’ 대목의 리듬 구조와 선율 구조 관련 전승변이 연구 : 정정렬·김여란·최승희를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 정정렬제 춘향가 전승 과정에서 나타난 변화 양상을 사설의 선율과 리듬 구조 중심으로 고찰하였다. 정정렬과 그의 직계 제자 김여란 그리고 최승희로 이어지는 소리 중 ‘어사와 장모’를 분석하고자 했다. 정정렬 소리는 신나라 레코드사에서 발매한 SP복각본, 김여란 소리는 지구레코드사에서 나온 음반을 채보하였으며, 최승희 소리는 그가 펴낸 ‘정정렬제 춘향가 악보집’을 기반으로 3인의 소리를 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 사설의 리듬 구조는 3소박과 2소박 그리고 혼용 리듬형 등 여러 분박 구조를 보이고 있으며, 정정렬은 분박 구조에서 비슷한 비율을 보이는 반면, 김여란과 최승희에서는 2소박 계열의 두드러짐이 나타났다. 둘째, 선율 구조는 악조에 있어서 김여란과 최승희는 계면조와 평조에서 같은 청을 유지하는 데 비해 정정렬은 평조 대목에서 3차례 중심음 변화가 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 정정렬제 판소리의 여러 다양한 대목들에 대한 폭넓은 분석도 논할 것을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the changes that appeared in the transmission process of Jeong Jeong-ryeol-je Chunhyangga, focusing on the melody and rhythmic structure of the editorial. We tried to compare and analyze the sound of Kim Ye-ran, who is evaluated to have perfectly inherited Jeong Jeong-ryeol's sound system, and his student Choi Seung-hee. Their voices were recorded in common and the remaining section of “Eosa and Mother-in-law” was used as the subject of the study. As a result of the analysis, first, the rhythmic structure of the editorial shows several beat structures such as three small beats, two small beats, and a mixed rhythm type, while Jeong-ryeol showed a similar ratio in the beat structure, while Kim Yeo-ran and Choi Seung-hee showed a two-small beat series. Second, in terms of the melody structure, Kim Ye-ran and Choi Seung-hee maintained the same pitch in the gyemyeonjo and pyeongjo, while Jeong Jeong-ryeol showed three central sound changes in the pyeongjo. Based on these research results, it was suggested to discuss a wide range of analysis of various passages in Jeong Jeong-ryeolje's pansori.
