국문 초록

This study is a follow-up to Nagano (2024), which explored the effects of activities leading to self-analysis in interview practice. It presents a qualitative analysis of the reflection texts written by students immediately after three output activities to examine what the students felt during the activities, what changes occurred to them during the activities, and how they performed self-analysis. The main results are threefold as follows. Firstly, the students could theoretically describe the details of what happened during the activities using the SCAT method. Secondly, over the course of each session, the students engaged in active experiments based on their insights and ideas for improving the content, and it was confirmed that they gradually enhanced their experiential learning process to refine the content. Also, the effect on self-understanding was attested in each session; what is of particular note here is that, especially after the second session, the students gained new perspectives from other students and fostered their growth and development by recognizing differences between themselves and other students. Finally, it was found that, in the first output activity, the students obtained many insights into their current shortcomings and faced difficulties in illustrating their strengths with episodes as well as in recalling their personal experiences. Moreover, in the output activity using Japanese, they realized their shortcomings in speaking Japanese and felt the difficulty of conveying content in the language.

영문 초록

本研究では、永野(2024)で示された面接練習における自己分析につながる活動の導入とその効果に関する後続研究として、3回行われたアウトプット活動の直後に学生たちが記述した振り返りテクストを分析対象とし、そのテクストの質的分析を行うことで、活動が行われたその時に、学生たちが何を感じ、そして活動を重ねるごとにどのような変化が起こり、自己分析がなされていったのかという過程について考察をしてきた。その結果、「(1)活動を行ったその時に何が起きていたのかという詳細を、SCATの理論記述として示すことができた」「(2)各回を重ねることで、内容の改善に向けた気づきや方針である抽象的概念化をもとに、能動的実験が行われることで、内容改善が繰り返されることがわかった。また、自己理解の効果は各回で見られたが、特に2回目以降に自分にない他者の視点を得たり、自他の相違を感じることで自己の成長·発展につなげていることがわかった」「(3)1回目のアウトプット活動では、自分の足りない現状に対する気づきを多く得ることや、長所とエピソードを関連付ける難しさ、自分の経験を想起する難しさという困難を感じることがわかった。また、日本語でのアウトプット活動では、日本語で話すことに関する自分の足りない現状を知り、さらに日本語での内容伝達の難しさについて感じることがわかった」などの結論を得ることができた。
