大學의 敎養 初級日本語 受業의 學習 니즈 分析을 통해 살펴본 發音 敎育의 重要性

국문 초록

This study is to conduct a needs analysis of beginner Japanese language learners in university liberal arts courses. To this end, a needs analysis was conducted as part of a practical class for beginner learners of liberal arts subjects, and suggestions on the importance of pronunciation education were obtained from the learners’ needs. The main results obtained through the study are as follows. First, Many people said that they wanted to become better at speaking in order to communicate smoothly, and that they thought pronunciation was the cause of communication obstacles. Second, in the area of pronunciation, of segments, accents, and intonation, they said that suprasegmental sounds were more difficult than segmental sounds, and that they paid the most attention to segmental sounds when speaking in Japanese. Most learners said that they wanted to speak like native Japanese speakers as their goal for learning pronunciation. This confirmed the high need of learners for better pronunciation abilities. Third, a large percentage of learners cited exposure to Japanese language through popular media as a useful method for learning Japanese.

영문 초록

この研究の目的は、大学の教養初級日本語学習者のニーズ分析を行うことにある。このために本稿では教養初級日本語の授業実践の一環としてニーズ分析を行い、学習者の日本語学習に対するニーズで発音教育の重要性に対する示唆を得た。 研究を通じて得られた主な結果は以下の通りである。まず、教養初級日本語学習者の主な学習動機は日本語と日本に対する関心であった。円滑なコミュニケーションのために話す能力を最も高めたいとし、コミュニケーションの障害の原因は発音だと思う意見が多かった。 第二に、発音領域で分節音、アクセント、イントネーションのような超分節音のうち、超分節音が分節音よりも難しいとし、日本語で話すときは分節音に気を使うという。発音学習の到達目標として、日本語母語話者のように話したいという学習者がほとんどだった。これにより発音能力に対する学習者の高いニーズを確認することができた。 第三に、日本語学習に役立つ方法として、マスコミを通じた日本語への露出を挙げる学習者が多くの割合を占めた。日本語学習の難しさとしては、日本の文字に対する意見が最も多かった。
