교육실습에서 예비 한문 교사가 겪는 수업의 어려움 분석

국문 초록

본고는 예비 한문 교사가 사범대학 재학 중에 경험하는 여러 단계 중에서 가장 중요한 단계인 교육실습에서 수업과 관련된 어려움을 분석함으로써, 대학에서의 예비 한문 교사 교육의 방향을 설정하고 예비 교사의 수업 역량을 높이기 위해 <학교현장실습> 과목의 교수요목이 어떠해야 하는지를 제공한다는 데에 연구 목적이 있다. 2025년에 전국의 사범대학을 대상으로 역량 진단이 있을 예정이다. 교원 양성기관 역량 진단은 일정한 주기를 가지고 실시해 온 것으로, 이번에는 6주기 역량 진단이다. 2024년에 전국의 교육대학과 한국교원대학교가 우선 역량 진단을 받았다. 2024년에 진행된 양성기관 진단 결과와 현재 발표된 교원 양성기관 진단 편람을 미루어 볼 때, 예비 교사의 수업 역량이 크게 강화되었음을 알 수 있는데, 이 연구는 이와 관련하여 예비 교사의 수업 역량을 기르기 위해 교원 양성기관에서 어떠한 것을 준비해야 하는지에 대한 시사점을 제공할 수 있다. 본고에서는 선행 연구 성과를 기반으로 문헌 연구와 내러티브 연구 방법을 통해 예비 한문 교사가 교육실습 중에 겪은 어려움을 수집하고 고찰하였다. 내러티브 분석은 연구 자료를 수집하고, 자료를 분석하여 주제나 구조 등을 파악하고, 그 결과를 제시하여 연구 참여자의 경험을 독자가 이해할 수 있도록 돕는다. 본고는 이러한 과정을 따랐다. 본고에서 분석한 기초 자료는 교생들이 제출한 ‘교단일지’이고, 연구 참여자는 해당 기간에 실습을 다녀온 교생이다. 연구 자료인 ‘교단일지’ 가운데 교생들이 실습 중 수업에서 어려움을 겪을 때마다 기록한 것을 통해 예비 교사의 수업 역량을 높일 방안을 찾고자 했다. 교육실습 때 예비 한문 교사들이 경험하는 수업의 어려움 중 하나는 한문 수업에 집중하지 못하는 학생들을 어떻게 수업으로 유도하여 수업 내용에 집중하게 할 것인가이다. 이는 예비 한문 교사의 수업 실패 경험이나 교단에서 맞닥뜨리는 수업의 딜레마 등을 해소하기 위한 전공 교육과정의 핵심 내용과도 관련되는데, 이를 위한 강의 내용 구성에 대해 제안하였다. 교육실습 중 수업에서 겪는 어려움을 살피다 보니 교육실습을 가는 3학년이나 4학년 이전 학년부터 수업 역량을 강화해야 한다는 것을 알게 되었다. 사범대학에 소속된 학과뿐만 아니라 비사범대학이지만 교직 과정을 운영하는 학과에서의 교사 교육 방향을 설정하고, 수업 역량과 관련된 교과목 개발 및 운영에 참고가 되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the challenges related to teaching that prospective Chinese Classics teachers encounter during their teaching practicum, which is the most critical stage among the various phases they experience while in school. By doing so, the study aims to establish the direction of prospective teachers education at universities and suggest how the syllabus for the course should be structured to enhance prospective teachers' instructional competencies. In 2025, a competency assessment will be conducted nationwide for teacher training universities. The teacher training institution competency assessment has been carried out periodically, and this time, it is the 6th cycle of the evaluation. In 2024, the competency assessment was first conducted for national education universities and Korea National University of Education. According to the published evaluation manual and the results of the 2024 teacher training institution assessment, it was found that pre-service teachers' instructional competencies have significantly improved. This study contributes to this area by providing further insights. the study suggests ways to structure lecture content to strengthen prospective Chinese Classics teachers' instructional competencies. this paper, based on the review of previous research results, I collected and analyzed the difficulties experienced by prospective Chinese Classics teachers during their teaching practice through literature research and narrative research methods. Narrative analysis collects research data, analyzes the collected data to identify themes and structures, and presents the results to help readers understand the experiences of the research participants. This paper followed this process. Through an analysis of the difficulties experienced during teaching practicum, it has become clear that instructional competency development should begin from the prospective teacher stage. These findings provide insights for exploring the direction of teacher education in departments affiliated with teacher training universities and non-teacher training universities that offer teaching certification programs. Additionally, they offer implications for the development and operation of courses related to instructional competency.
