국문 초록

본 연구는 실제 과거시험에서 출제된 답안들을 집성한 科文選集의 XML 구조 설계 방안을 제시하고, 나아가 이러한 반정형 데이터를 정형 데이터로 전환해 고려대학교 한자한문연구소 과시연구센터에서 구축하는 과시 데이터셋과의 통합을 모색하고자 했다. 이를 위해 2장에서는 문서 구조 설계의 예비적 검토로서 국공립기관 및 고려대학교 한적실 소장 과문선집의 자료적 특징을 개괄하고 방목류 기반의 정보들과 상호보완적 관계에 놓여있음을 확인했다. 3장에서는 이러한 과문선집의 형식적-내용적 특성을 체계적으로 XML 문서 구조에 반영하기 위해 ① 서지정보(Metadata), ② 형식정보(Formatdata), ③ 본문정보(Contentdata)라는 세 층위에서 스키마(Schema)를 설계하고 각 요소의 세부 분류와 기술 원칙을 정리했다. 4장에서는 파이썬(Python) 코드를 통해 과문선집 XML 문서에서 시험 관련 데이터를 추출하고 이를 정형 데이터로 가공해, 반정형 데이터를 테이블 형식으로 전환할 수 있는 실질적 방법을 제시했다. 궁극적으로 이러한 작업은 서지 중심적인 관리에서 벗어나 과문선집을 입체적으로 관리함으로써 학술적 환경에서 자료의 활용성과 가능성을 증대시킬 수 있다는 점에서 분명한 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to establish an XML design for the Collection of examination articles(科文選集) and explore the integration of this semi-structured data with the structured Gwashi(科試) Dataset, which is being developed by the Center for the Study of Civil Service Examinations in the Joseon Dynasty of Korea University Institute for Sinographic Literatures and Philology. To this end, Chapter 2 provides an overview of the material characteristics of the Collection of examination articles housed in national and public institutions, as well as the collections held by Korea University, and confirms its complementary relationship with information based on Bangmok. Chapter 3 systematically reflects the formal and content-related characteristics of the Collection of examination articles into an XML document structure by designing a schema in three levels: ① Metadata, ② Formatdata, and ③ Contentdata, along with detailed classifications and technical principles for each element. Chapter 4 presents a practical method for extracting exam-related data from the Collection of examination articles XML documents using Python code and converting it into structured data, thus transforming semi-structured data into tabular format. Ultimately, this work contributes to enhancing the academic utility and potential of the Collection of examination articles by enabling a more multidimensional management approach, moving beyond bibliographic-centric management.
