국문 초록

코로나19 시기에 종교인들의 활동 위축, 대면 예배자의 감소는 노령화 이슈와 함께 우리나라 종교계의 교세 감소에 대한 우려를 낳았으나, 지목상 종교 용지로 분류된 토지의 지번수와 면적의 총합은 약 10%이상 늘어나는 현상을 확인하였다. 불교와 기독교 등 오래된 정통교파의 교인 수 감소와는 달리 J교파와 H교파의 건물주소를 확 인하여 2024년 현재의 분포도를 확인한 결과, 서울 및 광역시 등 인구밀집지역에 선호 현상을 확인할 수 있었으며, 경북 일부 군의 경우와 부산 5개 구를 제외하고는 J교파는 시군구중 12곳을 제외하고, H교파는 32곳을 제외하고 모든 시군구에서 교회 건물이 있었다. H교파는 상가입주건물의 49.2%가, J교파는 전체 건물의 38.9%가 대학교들 의 2km내 반경에 위치하고 있었다. 소규모의 종파라 해도, 종교활동이 개개인의 가정과 사회생활에 미치는 영향 이 큰 만큼, 우리나라 종교 구성의 변화에 대한 추가 연구가 요구된다.

영문 초록

During the time when the Covid 19 pandemic was rampant, the decline in the activities of religious people along with the aging issue, gave rise to concerns about a decrease in religious powers in the religious community in Korea. Besides the decrease in the number of members of old orthodox denominations such as Buddhism and Christianity, the current distribution map of 2024 was made by geo-coding of the building addresses of the J.and H.denominations, to show a preference for densely populated areas such as Seoul and metropolitan cities. The J.enomination has church buildings were found in all cities, counties and districts except 12, while denomination H has church buildings in all cities, counties and districts except 32. Among the churches of the H and J.denominations, 38% and 28% respectively, were located within a 2 km radius of universities. The additional research is required on the changes of Korea’s religious composition.
