국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 대학생의 실제-이상 자기불일치와 대인관계 문제 간의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 전국 대학생 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 수집된 200명 자료를 분석하였다. 연구변인 간 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 3단계 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였고, Hayes(2013)의 PROCESS Macro를 활용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과: 자기자비는 실제-이상 자기불일치와 대인관계 문제의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 자기자비가 자기불일치로 인한 부정적 영향을 감소시키고 대인관계 문제를 완화하는 중요한 요인임을 의미한다. 논의 및 결론: 이러한 연구결과는 대학생의 심리적 건강과 대인관계 증진을 위한 개입에서 자기자비를 주요 요소로 고려해야 함을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 대인관계 문제 해결을 위해 자기자비 향상에 초점을 맞춘 상담 및 교육 프로그램의 필요성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of self-compassion on the relationship between actual-ideal self-discrepancy and interpersonal problems in college students. Method: A survey was conducted on college students nationwide, and data from 200 participants were analyzed. To verify the mediating effect among research variables, Baron and Kenny's(1986) three-step hierarchical multiple regression analysis was performed, and the mediating effect was tested using Hayes'(2013) PROCESS Macro. Results: Self-compassion fully mediated the relationship between actual-ideal self-discrepancy and interpersonal problems. This suggests that self-compassion was a crucial factor in reducing the negative effects of self-discrepancy and mitigating interpersonal problems. Second, the indirect effect of self-compassion was statistically significant. Conclusion: These findings suggested that self-compassion should be considered a key element in interventions aimed at improving psychological health and interpersonal relationships among college students.
