유아교사의 놀이신념과 놀이민감성이 놀이권리인식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

놀이는 유아의 삶이자 생활 방식이며 성장과 발달의 원동력이기 때문에 유아에게 필수적인 요소이다. 유아가 누려야 할 당연한 권리인 놀이는 유아교사의 놀이에 대한 인식과 태도에 따라 달라질 수 있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 유아교사의 놀이신념, 놀이민감성, 놀이권리인식 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 놀이신념과 놀이민감성이 놀이권리인식에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 G광역시에 소재한 유아교육기관에 재직 중인 유아교사 167명이며, 연구도구는 놀이신념, 놀이민감성, 놀이권리인식 질문지를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 28.0 프로그램을 사용하여 Pearson의 적률상관관계분석, 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 유아교사의 놀이신념과 놀이민감성 간에, 놀이신념과 놀이권리인식 간에, 놀이민감성과 놀이권리인식 간에 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 놀이신념, 놀이민감성의 하위요인인 유아이해와 놀이관찰은 놀이권리인식에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아를 중심으로 한 놀이중심 교육과정이 유아교육현장에 안착하여 운영되고 있는 현시점에서 유아교사의 놀이권리인식에 영향을 미치는 유아교사의 놀이 관련 변인을 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Play is essential for young children because it is their life, their way of life, and the driving force of their growth and development. Play, which is a natural right that children should enjoy, can vary depending on the early childhood teacher's perception and attitude toward play. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between early childhood teachers’ play beliefs, play sensitivity, and perception of the right to play, and to verify the influence of play beliefs and play sensitivity on perception of the right to play. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between early childhood teachers’ play beliefs, play sensitivity, and perception of the right to play, and to verify the influence of play beliefs and play sensitivity on perception of the right to play. The research subjects were 167 early childhood teachers working at early childhood education institutions located in G Metropolitan City. The research tools used were questionnaires on play beliefs, play sensitivity, and perception of the right to play. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 28.0 program to perform frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and regression analysis. The results of the study showed that, first, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between play beliefs and play sensitivity, between play beliefs and perception of the right to play, and between play sensitivity and perception of the right to play in all subfactors. Second, the subfactors of early childhood teachers’ play beliefs and play sensitivity, child understanding and play observation, were found to be variables that affected perception of the right to play. These results are significant in that they reveal the variables related to teachers’ play that influence their perception of the right to play at a time when play-centered education is being established and implemented in early childhood education settings.
