예산지역 3.1운동 사적·공간의현황과 활용론

국문 초록

3.1운동은 한국인 스스로 민족을 자각한 근대사의 중요한 전환점이 며, 지역의 근대사를 밝히는 단서이다. 그러한 의미에서 3.1운동의 사적 과 공간은 지역사를 복원하고 시민과 기억하고 기념할 수 있는 중요한 자원이다. 예산지역의 3.1운동 사적과 공간은 그간의 인식 부족으로 매우 제한 적이다. 예산의 3.1운동이 주민들의 일상 공간인 시장과 마을 인근의 야산 등지에서 전개되었다는 특징과도 무관하지 않다. 이에 3.1운동 사 적과 공간을 활용하여 예산 3.1운동을 지속 가능한 미래가치로 구현해 낼 수 있는 활용론이 필요하다. 먼저, 사적의 활용 범위를 예산지역의 다양한 자연·문화·관광자원과 연계하여 3.1운동 사적과 공간, 관광과의 ‘이음 길’을 제시하였다. 이어 예산 3.1운동의 특징인 횃불만세운동을 가상의 공간에서 체험하는 방안 을 살펴보았다. 다음으로, 일상에서의 기억과 기념을 위해 예산에서 연중 개최되는 축제 속에 3.1운동을 특화한 프로그램의 기획 방안을 살펴보았다. 병행 하여 충남 유일의 국제예술제인 예당국제공연예술제에 3.1운동 창작극 을 공연하거나, 연극제를 개최하여 시민의 생활 속에서 예산 3.1운동이 각인되는 방안을 제시하였다. 결국, 3.1운동 사적과 공간은 예산 문화·관광의 연장선상에서 기억하 고 기념하여 그 가치를 현재의 관점으로 재해석해야 한다. 이를 통해 예산 3.1운동이 지역의 정체성을 담보하는 문화원형으로 자리를 잡고 예산 지역사의 한 분야로 정착, 계승될 것이다.

영문 초록

The March 1st Independence Movement is a movement that Koreans themselves became aware of the nation. It is an important turning point in modern history. Therefore, it is a clue to reveal the modern history of the region. In that sense, the Historical sites and Space of the March 1st Movement are resources to remember and commemorate local history. Yesan Areas has very little Historical sites and Space for The March 1st Independence Movement. It is necessary to supplement this point to actively utilize the existing one and to use it as content. First of all, it was approached as part of the tourism industry, which is the strength of the Yesan Area local government. In connection with tourism resources, a ‘connecting road’ was devised. In addition, experience the site of The March 1st Independence Movement in the Yesan Areas in a virtual space. Next, it was approached as part of a festival held throughout the year. Insert a program specializing in The March 1st Independence Movement into the festival. In addition, creative plays for The March 1st Independence Movement are performed at the International Arts Festival. It also holds a theater festival. The theme of the play is conceived in the history of the The March 1st Independence Movement in the Yesan Areas. In the end, Historical sites and Space of The March 1st Independence Movement must be remembered and commemorated together with the cultural and tourism resources of Yesan Areas. At this time, The March 1st Independence Movement in the Yesan Areas will be settled as a field of regional history.
