국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 한국어 고급 학습자의 문법성 판단 능력을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법: 101명의 한국어 고급 학습자를 mini-TOPIK 점수를 기준으로 스테나인 등급에 맞춰 구분하고, 19개의 문법 항목으로 구성된 316개 문장의 문법성 판단 테스트를 수행하게 하였다. 수집한 자료는 R을 사용하여 t-검정, ANOVA, LME를 통해 분석하였다. 결과: 숙달도가 향상될수록 GJT 점수도 상승함을 확인하였다. 그러나 ‘-더-’, ‘-아/어서’, ‘-느라고’는 고급 이상의 학습자들도 암묵적 지식 습득에 어려움을 겪는 항목으로 나타났다. <국제통용 한국어 표준 교육과정>의 문법 항목 등급이 습득 단계에 유의한 영향을 미침을 확인하였으나, ‘보조사’, ‘주체 높임’, ‘-아/어서’, ‘-느라고’’는 동일한 급의 다른 문법 항목들과는 달리 숙달도 향상에 따른 선형의 발달 과정을 보이지 않았다. 결론: 19개의 문법 항목들은 숙달도에 따라 습득되는 단계가 다르며, 문법 항목의 난이도가 습득에 영향을 미치는 요인이라는 것을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the grammaticality judgment competence of advanced Korean language learners focusing on their implicit knowledge of specific grammatical items. Methods: A total of 101 advanced learners were categorized based on mini-TOPIK scores using the stanine scale. Participants completed a grammaticality judgment test of 316 sentences covering 19 grammatical items. Data were analyzed using t-tests, ANOVA, and LME in R. Results: The analysis revealed that, as proficiency levels increased, GJT scores also improved. However, certain grammatical items, including ‘deo-’, ‘-a/eoseo’, and ‘-neurago’, remained challenging even for highly proficient learners, suggesting difficulties in implicit knowledge acquisition. The grading of grammatical items, as outlined in the , significantly influenced acquisition stages. Nevertheless, certain items—such as auxiliary particles, subject honorifics, ‘-a/eoseo’, and ‘-neurago’ did not exhibit a linear developmental progression with increased proficiency, unlike other grammatical items at the same level. Conclusion: The 19 grammatical items are acquired at different stages depending on proficiency levels, and the difficulty of grammatical items can influence the acquisition process.
