코퍼스를 활용한 피동사 연어 구성의 통계적 분석 - 한국어교육을 위한 ‘보이다’ 용례 분석을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 코퍼스를 활용하여 피동사 ‘보이다’의 용례 분석을 바탕으로 ‘보이다’를 이루는 연어 구성에 대한 논의를 하였다. 이를 위해 본고는 21세기 세종계획 형태의미분석 코퍼스를 기반으로 한마루 2.0 프로그램을 이용하여 고빈도 피동사 ‘보이다’를 연구대상으로 삼게된 과정을 밝혔다. 또한 ‘보이다’의 연어 구성을 분석하기 위해 두 가지 통계 검정 방법을 이용하여 두 단어의 유사성을 계산하는 방법으로 많이 쓰이는 점수렴 상호정보에 의한 값과 t검정에 의한 값을 각각 산출하여 유의미한 값으로 나온 단어 20개를 선정하였다. 그 다음으로, 한국어교육을 위한 ‘보이다’의 연어 구성을 제안하기 위하여, 문법적 일반형 구 단위의 연어 구성과 어휘적 연어 구성으로 나누어 그 사례들을 검토해 보았다. 본고는 한국어교육 분야에서 그동안 많이 시도해 보지 않은 연구 방법으로서 피동사 ‘보이다’의 용례 분석을 중심으로 통계 검정 방법을 통해 ‘보이다’의 연어 구성을 살펴본 시범적인 논의라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 실제로 사용된 언어 자료의 분석을 통해 선행·후행 요소와의 결합 관계를 구체적으로 살피고자 하였으며 이는 한국어교육 현장에서 교수·학습 자료로 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

In this study, the usage of the passive verb “boida” was statistically analyzed to identify its collocational structures. Analyses of the Sejong project morph-sense tagged corpus using the Hanmaru 2.0 program revealed that the passive verb “boida” was frequently adopted as the subject. In addition, on the basis of two statistical tests analyzing the collocational structures of “boida,” 20 words were selected as significant observations by estimating their values using pointwise mutual information, which is a popular method for calculating the similarity between two words and their values using a t test. Furthermore, to present the collocational structures of “boida” in the context of Korean education, the cases were examined by dividing the collocational structures into grammatical phrases and lexical units. This study can be preliminary research examining the collocational structures of “boida” using statistical tests by focusing on the usage of the passive verb “boida,” which is a substantially less adopted method in the context of Korean education. Moreover, this study concretely examined the relationship between prospective and retrospective structures by analyzing the actually used language data, which will be utilized as teaching-learning materials in Korean education.
