유아교사의 현장학습 안전관리 현황과 인식

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 영유아기관에서 이루어지고 있는 현장학습 안전관리 실천현황과 교사들의현장학습에 대한 인식을 알아보고 교사들의 안전관리 실천을 위한 지원 방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 연구대상은 J도에 위치한 유아교육기관에 근무하고 있는 교사 157명이었다. 자료수집은 2018년 6월 11일부터 20일까지 이루어졌으며 장선경(2009), 이윤미(2010), 서은혜(2013), 홍금희(2017)의 연구에서 사용된 설문지를 바탕으로 학교안전 7대 표준안(교육부, 2015)의 현장학습 안전교육의 내용을 포함하여 설문지 문항을 수정 보완하여 질문지를 구성하였다. 최종 작성된 설문지는 눈덩이방법을 사용하여 직접 기관을방문하여 배부 및 회수하였다. 자료는 빈도와 백분율로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 유아교육기관의 많은 교사들이 안전사고를 경험하고 있으며 교사들은 안전사고를 대비하여 사전 준비가 필요하다고 생각하고 필요한 물품을 챙기지만 현장학습지의 안전을 파악하는 등의 사전답사를 항상 가지 않고 있는 모순된 행동이 보이고 있었다. 교사들은 현장학습 안전관리에 대한 중요성을 높이 인식하고 있었고 사전답사 등에대한 필요도룰 높게 인식하고 있었다. 연구결론: 결론적으로 첫째, 현장학습에 대한 매뉴얼 체계적인 지원과 교육이 필요하고 둘째,교사들에게 체계적인 피드백 시스템이 구축되어야 한다. 셋째, 현장학습 관련 교육이교사들의 실제 요구를 반영할 수 있도록 교육 내용과 방식을 재고할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로, 교사들이 현장학습에서의 업무 부담을 줄일 수 있도록 보조 인력 및 행정적 지원이 강화되어야 한다. 이러한 개선 방안을 통해 유아교육기관의 현장학습이보다 안전하고 효과적으로 운영될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to ascertain the current status of safety management practiceeducation in the field and teachers’ perception of this education in early childhood educations,as well as to determine support measures for teachers’ safety management practices. Methods: The subjects of the study were 157 teachers working at an early childhood educationinstitution located in J Province. The study took place from June 11 to 20, 2018 in theform of a questionnaire composed of and supplemented by the research of Jang Sun-kyung(2009), Lee Yun-mi (2010), Seo Eun-hye (2013), and Hong Geum-hee (2017) on the subjectof safety management practice education, all organized in accordance with the sevenstandards for school safety (Ministry of Education, 2015). This survey was conducted fromJune 11 to 20 in 2018, and the data was analyzed by frequency and percentage. Results: It was found that many teachers in early childhood education institutions were experiencingsafety accidents, and accordingly believed it was important to prepare in advance for theseaccidents and prepared necessary items beforehand. However, the teachers often displayedbehavior contradictory to what was expressed in preliminary surveys, such as failing toverify the safety of field trips ahead of time. Otherwise, the teachers were highly awareof the importance of field trip safety management, and the need for preliminary surveysand other analytical tools was recognized. Conclusion: Overall, manual systematic support and education for field trips are needed, and afeedback system for teachers should be established. Moreover, it is necessary toreconsider the content and method of education so that field trip-related education canproperly reflect the actual needs of teachers. Assistant manpower and administrativesupport should also be strengthened as to reduce the burden of work in field trips forteachers. Through these proposed improvement measures, field trips of early childhoodeducation institutions can be operated more safely and effectively.
