영유아가 체험한 어린이집 교실의 의미

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 영유아가 체험한 어린이집 교실의 의미가 영유아에게 무엇인지 드러내고자 하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 영유아의 교실 체험의 의미를 살펴보기 위해 영아반과 유아반을 관찰하여 자료를 수집하였고, 현상학적 방법론으로 질적 분석하였다. 관찰 내용을 해석학적 순환과정을통해 사례에 적합한 주제 네 개를 선정하였고, 선정 내용은 어원 분석, 타인의 체험과 비교, 예술적 표현, 현상학 철학과 관련된 문헌과 연결하여 해석하였다. 연구결과: 영유아의 체험된 교실의 의미는 크게 네 개다. 첫째, 좁은 곳에서 넓은 곳으로 이동:공간 정복과 창출, 둘째, 내가 숨을 곳: 내적 성장을 위한 공간, 셋째, 내가 있기도하고 없기도 한 교실: 존재와 하나 된 공간, 넷째, 일상이 일어나며 떠나기 싫은 곳:집으로 관계 맺기라는 네 개의 주제이다. 연구결론: 영유아가 체험한 교실의 의미는 공간을 정복하면서 내적 성장이 일어나는 곳이었다. 또한 나와 교실은 하나 된 공간으로서 의미를 지니며, 영유아는 교실을 집이라 생각하고 관계 맺기를 하는 공간이었다. 즉 영유아에게 교실은 인간화되는 과정이 모두체험되는 곳이었다. 영유아가 체험하는 이런 교실 체험을 살리기 위해 부모와 교사의 교실 바라보기에 대한 시선의 변화가 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning of the childcare classroom as livedexperience by infants and early Childhood. Methods: To explore the meaning of infants' and early childhood' classroom lived experiences,data were collected by observing infant and early childhood classes and qualitativelyanalyzed using phenomenological methodology. Four themes were selected from theobservations through a hermeneutic circle and interpreted by linking the findings toliterature related to etymological analysis, comparison with others' lived experiences,artistic expression, and phenomenological philosophy. Results: There are four main meanings of the classroom as lived experienced by infants and earlychildhood. First, moving from narrow to wide: conquering and creating space; second, aplace to hide: space for inner growth; third, a classroom where I am and am not: A placeof presence and oneness, and fourth, A place where life happens and I don't want toleave: relating to home. Conclusion: The meaning of the classroom as lived experienced by infants and early Childhood wasa place where inner growth occurs through conquering space; the meaning of me andthe classroom as a unified space; and the classroom as a place where infants and earlyChildhood consider the classroom to be home and relate to it. In other words, forinfants and early Childhood, the classroom is a place where they lived experience allthe processes of humanization. This study suggests that parents and teachers need tochange the way they view the classroom in order to capitalize on this kind of classroomlived experience for infants and early Childhood.
