학교현장실습 전·후 예비유아교사들의 역량 향상에 대한 기대와 성취도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 학교현장실습에서 향상될 것으로 기대하는 역 량과 학교현장실습 후에 성취한 역량에 대한 인식을 분석하여 보다 내실화된 학교현 장실습 운영을 위한 지도방안을 모색하기 위해 실시되었다. 2020학년도부터 2022학년 도까지 학교현장실습에 참여한 대전광역시 A대학교의 예비유아교사 153명의 자료를 대상으로 t-test와 IPA분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교현장실 습 전·후로 예비유아교사들이 기대하는 역량과 성취한 역량 간에는 통계적으로 유의 미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 ‘유아와의 상호작용’, ‘유아발달과 개인차 이해’, ‘유아생활지도 및 안전지도’, ‘집단활동지도’, ‘교육계획안 작성’, ‘매체개발과 제작’에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, IPA 분석결과를 역량 향상에 대한 기대를 Y축으로, 성취도 인식을 X축으로 하는 사분면으로 정리하면 다음과 같 다. 1사분면(지속 유지)에는 ‘유아와의 상호작용’, ‘놀이지도’, ‘집단활동지도’, ‘유아생 활지도 및 안전지도’, ‘유아발달과 개인차 이해’가 포함되었으며, 2사분면(집중 개선) 에는 ‘환경구성’과 ‘유치원교육과정 실행’이 포함되었다. 3사분면(점진 개선)에는 ‘부 모와의 의사소통’, ‘유치원 행정 및 사무’, ‘행사계획 및 실행’, ‘매체 개발과 제작’이 포함되었으며, 4사분면(과잉노력 지양)에는 ‘교육계획안 작성’이 포함되었다. 이를 토대로 학교현장실습의 내실화를 위한 교육적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to explore reinforcing methods for school field practice using IPA by analyzing pre-service early childhood teachers' perceptions of competencies expected in school field practice and competencies achieved after school field practice. The t-test and IPA analysis were conducted on the data of 153 pre-service early childhood teachers at A University in Daejeon who participated in school field practice from the 2020 academic year to the 2022 academic year. The results are as follows. First, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the competencies expected of pre-service teachers before and after school field practice and those achieved. In particular, there were significant differences in ‘interacting with children’, ‘understanding child development and individual differences’, ‘guidance of children life and safety’, ‘guiding group activities’, ‘writing educational plans’, and ‘development and production of teaching media’. Second, the IPA analysis results can be organized into quadrants with expectations for competency improvement on the Y-axis and recognition of achievement on the X-axis, as follows. Quadrant 1 included ‘interacting with children’, ‘guiding play’, ‘guiding group activities’, ‘guidance of children life and safety’, and ‘understanding child development and individual differences’, while quadrant 2 included ‘organizing the environment’ and ‘implementing the kindergarten curriculum’ was included. The 3rd quadrant included ‘communication with parents’, ‘kindergarten administration and affairs’, ‘event planning and execution’ and ‘development and production of teaching media’, and the 4rd quadrant included ‘writing educational plan’. Based on this, educational implications were presented for the improvement of school field practice.
