대학생의 입학전형별 취업률 분석: S대학교 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 대학 입학전형과 취업률과의 관계를 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 수도권 소재 S대학에서 제공한 최근 3년 졸업생 (2020-2022학년도)의 취업 자료를 대상으로 세부 입학전형별 취업률의 교차분석을 실시하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정시와 수시를 막론하고 실기전형 입학생의 취업률이 다른 전형에 비해 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 취업률을 졸업연도별로 구분해 서 분석했을 때, 2020학년도와 2021학년도 졸업생의 경우 정시와 수시 모두 실기전형 으로 입학한 학생들의 취업률이 타 세부전형에 비해 높은 것으로 확인되지만, 2022학 년도에는 이 패턴이 발견되지 않았다. 셋째, 수시전형 내에서 학생부종합전형 입학생 이 학생부교과전형 입학생보다 높은 취업률을 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 기반으로 후속 연구에 주는 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the relationship between university admission types and employment rates. To achieve this, employment data from graduates over the past three years (academic years 2021-2023) provided by S University in the Seoul metropolitan area were cross-analyzed based on specific admission types. The findings are as follows: First, regardless of regular or early admission, students admitted through performance-based exams had the highest employment rates compared to other types. Second, when analyzing employment rates by graduation year, it was found that graduates from the academic years 2020 and 2021 admitted through performance-based exams had higher employment rates than those admitted through other specific types, but this pattern was not observed for the 2022 graduates. Third, within the early admission category, students admitted through comprehensive student records had higher employment rates than those admitted through academic records. Based on these results, the study provides implications for employment support policies in higher education and suggestions for further research.
