국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 AAC 사용 지적장애인에 대한 일반 고등학생의 태도를 연구하는 것이었다. 연구방법: 연구 참여자는 경남의 한 도시에 위치한 4개 고등학교에서 학생들의 동의에 따라 편의표집한 1학년과 3학년 학생 676명 중 설문지 응답이 불성실한 학생을 제외한 646명이었다. 연구 참여 학생들은 직업재활사와 상호작용하는 동안 비도구 AAC, 의사소통판, 음성산출도구(SGD)를 사용하며 대화하는 지적장애인의 동영상에 각각 무작위로 배정되었다. 연구결과: 연구 참여 학생들의 AAC 사용 지적장애인에 대한 태도는 전반적으로 보통 정도였다. 여학생이 남학생보다 긍정적인 태도를 보였으며, 고등학교 1학년보다 3학년 학생들이 더 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 또한 비도구 AAC나 의사소통판을 사용할 때보다 SGD를 사용하여 상호작용할 때 더 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 결론: 본 연구의 결과는 AAC 사용 장애학생의 통합교육을 위한 많은 정보를 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to study the attitude of high school students toward an adult with intellectual disability using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Method: Participants included 646, 10th through 12th grade students from four regular high schools in a city of Gyeongnam province. Three different experimental videos were taken of a man with intellectual disability using AAC while interacting with a vocational teacher. The participants were divided three groups: one group watched the man using unaided AAC, another group watched the man using a communication board, and the last group watched the man using a SGD. Results: Results indicated that the attitude of the participants was generally neutral. Girls expressed more positive attitudes than boys, 12th grade students were more positive than 10th grade students. The attitudes were more positive when the man using SGD than communication board or unaided AAC. Conclusion: The results of this study will provide lots of information for inclusion of students with disabilities using AAC.
