영문 초록

Perceptual Assimilation Model (PAM) and Speech Learning Model(SLM), current theories of cross-language speech perception, claim that learning of non-native phonemes is predicted relative difficulties in discriminating phonemes and the possibility of learning according to perceptual relationship of non-native phonemes and native categories. Chinese have difficulties in learning Korean plosives, affricates, fricatives because of the difference between Chinese and Korean phonological system. In the present study, Experiment reviewed perceptual categories of Chinese on Korean plosives, affricates, fricatives coming to the initial sound of syllables with perceptual assimilation survey task, and predicted relative difficulties in discriminating phonemes and the possibility of acquisition to PAM and SLM. As a result, Chinese have difficulties in discrimination between ① Korean plosive lenis and plosive aspirated, ② /지/ and /찌/, ③ /시/ and /씨/, ④ /ㅈ/, /ㅅ/, /ㅊ/. And according to SLM, /ㅈ/ and /ㅅ/ are turned out to have the highest possibility of acquisition. And Korean fortis is merged into Chinese unaspirated. So Korean fortis is the most difficult sound Chinese acquire.
