통합교육 환경에서의 특수교육 보조인력 제도 관련 특수학급 교사의 인식과 개선 방안

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 통합교육 환경에서의 특수교육 보조인력 제도에 대한 특수학급 교사의 인식과 개선방안에 대하여 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 질적연구 기법을 사용하였으며 특수교사 11명을 연구참여자로 하여 포커스그룹 면담을 실시하였다. 각 면담은 약 1시간 30분에서 2시간 정도 소요되었으며 면담 후 전사된 자료는 지속적 비교 분석법에 따라 분석하였 다. 연구결과: 분석 결과, 20개의 하위주제, 4개의 주제가 도출되었으며, 주제는 다음과 같다. (1) 특수교육 보조인력 명칭 관련 특수학급 교사의 인식, (2) 특수교육 보조인력 제도의 혜택에 대한 인식, (3) 특수교육 보조인력 제도의 문제점에 대한 인식, (4) 특수교육 보조인력 제도의 개선 방안 관련 인식. 결론: 연구결과에서 도출된 내용을 바탕으로 통합교육 환경에서의 특수교육 보조인력 제도 운영 관련 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the special class teachers' perception and improvement plans for the special education paraprofessional systems in an inclusive environment. Method: This study used a qualitative research technique, and group interviews were conducted with 11 special class teachers as the research participants. Each interview took about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, and the transcribed data after the interview were analyzed according to the continuous comparative analysis method. Results: As the results of the analysis, 20 sub-themes and 4 themes were derived, and the themes are as follows. (1) special class teachers’ perceptions related to naming of special education paraprofessionals, (2) perception of the benefits of the special education paraprofessional systems, (3) perception of the problems of the special education paraprofessional systems, (4) perception of improvement plan of the special education paraprofessional systems. Conclusion: Based on the contents derived from the research results, the implications related to the use of the special education paraprofessional systems in the inclusive education environment were presented.
