국문 초록

본 연구는 현재 초등 1/2학년에 적용하는 통합교과 ‘즐거운 생활’에 관한 적절성을 다룬 것이다. 우리나라 통합교육과정은 4차 교육과정(1981)이래 현재 까지 운영하고 있다. 그러나 음악이 그 특성상 ‘즐거운 생활’의 교과 구성에서처럼 특정교과로 제한된 통합교과에 속하는 것이 바람직한 것인지 등에 관한 의문점은 오래전부터 음악교과 전문가들 사이에서 제시되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 음악의 특성, 아동의 음악성발달, 인지적 단계에 따른 음악학습 등을 고려해볼 때 과연 현 체제와 같은 통합교과 교육과정 체제가 적절한가에 대한 문제를 탐색하였다. 연구결과 음악은 아동의 음악적 발달 측면에서 교과적 효율성을 높이기 위한 방법으로 독립교과로 운영하는 것이 바람직하며, 계속적으로 통합교과교육과정으로 편제 될 경우에는 음악이 중심이 되는 다양한 교과 관련적 통합학습이 적절하다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on a research on the methods to increase the efficiency of learning music in pleasant life subject, integrated curriculum, followed by several problems as an example. Based on the research, the first problem as a method to increase academic development in learning music in the first and second grades of elementary school, is that guiding students study with the identical theme as a composition of pleasant life subject correlating music · arts · physical education sets limits to construct a connection between activities. Thus, the limit of subjects should be transformed for integrated subjects to construct a various learning depending on the subjects. Second, the themes chosen in pleasant life curriculum lack the appropriateness in relations between grades or learning by subjects. Third, it is effective to run music as an independent subject for the first and second graders of elementary school who need to learn the general idea of music. In conclusion, considering the problems shown above, it is advisable to run music curriculum as an independent subject based upon the artistic features of music, the traits in guiding students study and a cognitive development of a child.
