지체장애 근로자의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 요인 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 지체장애 근로자의 인구사회학적 요인, 장애관련 요인, 직업관련 요인이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원에서 조사한 2013년 제6차 장애인 고용패널조사 자료를 활용하였다. 전체 조사대상자 가운데 연구목적에 부합하는 지체장애 근로자 581명에 대한 유효한 자료를 추출하였으며, 통계적으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체장애 근로자의 일자리 만족도는 보통 수준으로 나타났으며, 의사소통 및 대인관계, 일의 내용, 근로시간 등은 높은 만족도를 보인 반면, 교육훈련기회, 개인의 발전가능성, 임금 및 소득, 복리후생에 대해서는 낮은 만족도를 보였다. 둘째, 삶의 만족도는 중간 수준의 만족도를 보였으며, 가족관계, 결혼생활, 친구관계, 거주지역에 대한 만족도는 높은 반면, 건강상태, 월수입, 여가활동에 대한 만족도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인이 인구사회학적 특성 중에는 결혼상태와 학력이, 장애관련 특성에서는 장애상태인 것으로 나타났으며, 마지막으로 일자리 만족도가 삶의 만족도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 지체장애인을 위한 직업적 지원뿐 아니라 삶의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 다양한 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the effects of socio-demographic factors, disability -related factors and job-related factors of workers with physical disabilities on life satisfaction. For this study, the data of the 2013 6th Korea Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled conducted by the Employment Development Institute of Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled were utilized. From all the subjects surveyed, 581 workers with physical disabilities who were fit for the study purpose, were chosen, and analysis were implemented. First, job satisfaction of workers with physical disabilities showed a normal level. Communication/personal relations, contents of work, and working hours showed a high level of satisfaction. Whereas, opportunity for education and training, individual potential for development, wage or income, and welfare benefits showed a lower level of satisfaction. Second, life satisfaction of workers with physical disabilities showed a normal level. Family relations, marital life, friendship, and where to live showed a high level of satisfaction. Whereas, health status, monthly income, and leisure activity showed a lower level of satisfaction. Third, marital status and academic background of socio- demographic characteristics and disability status of disability-related characteristics influenced on life satisfaction. Among socio-demographic characteristics, discrimination experience in work places and the use of knowledge or functions learned from the current jobs were the influencing factors, and last, job satisfaction had a significant effect on life satisfaction. Based on these findings, this study discussed diverse plans to improve life satisfaction through job support for workers with physical disabilities and improvement in job satisfaction.
