영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to review and synthesize for papers in the Journal of Korean Practical Arts Education(1997-2006). The 346 articles were collected from Journal of Korean Practical Arts Education from 1997 to 2006. Each article was to review the research’s characteristics such as the research topic, research field, research method, and statistical methods. The data were analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The result of review were as follows in Journal of Korean Practical Arts Education from 1997 to 2006; (1) Literature review research was decreased, and experiment research was increased in the research methods. (2) The agricultural area research was decreased, and computer area, environment area research was increased in the research area of Practical Arts Education.(3) Majority of the research topics were related the educational contents, learning and teaching methods. (4) The statistical methods had been higher in t-test, and various statistical methods were used continuously. The author suggested some recommendations for the better research and improvement in practical arts education.
