국문 초록

중년기의 자아성찰은 생애발달단계의 결정적 전환기라는 점에서 매우 중요한 의미를 가진다. 이 시기에는 자신의 지난 삶을 되돌아보고 재평가함으로써 자기 삶의 경험을 현재에 통합시키며 삶의 의미를 찾고자 한다. 에니어그램은 자아성찰과 내적 성장에 대한 갈망을 도와주는 유용한 도구이다. 본 연구에서는 성장과 변화라는 실존적 요구에 당면한 중년 여교사들을 대상으로 에니어그램 워크숍을 실시하여, 삶의 성찰 기회를 제공하고 내적 변화와 성장을 돕고자 하였다. 이를 위해 에니어그램 워크숍을 통해 얻은 중년 여교사가 경험하는 자아성찰의 내용은 무엇인가? 라는 연구문제를 설정하였다. 본 연구의 결과 에니어그램 워크숍을 통해 연구참여자가 경험한 자아성찰은 성찰을 위한 용기가 필요하다는 것, 우리 안에 있는 내면 아이에 대한 자각, 인간관계에 대한 책임있는 해석, 가부장적 사회구조와 여성의 몸에 대한 관계에 대한 성찰과 자기 긍정을 통한 영성의 발견으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 에니어그램의 가치를 단순한 유형론이 아닌 영적 성장 도구로서의 가치를 경험적으로 밝히고 있는 점과 여성주의 상담과 영성상담의 접근 가능성을 보여주었다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. 후속 연구에서는 보다 다양한 유형별 접근과 종단적 접근이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Self-reflect at the middle ages is very significant in that the period of middle age is the definitive turning-point of life development stage. Peoples at middle ages usually look back upon their past and revaluate their life. By this reflection, they synthesize their experiences into the present and research the meaning of their own life. The Enneagram is the useful tool to help them with the self-reflection and inner-research. Therefore, by holding the Enneagram workshop at the target of middle aged female teachers, this study intends to assist them to leads to the inner-changes and growth. For the group of middle aged female teachers requires the existential needs of growth and changes. The problem of this study is as follow: what is the procedure of self-research and the result by attending the workshop? The conclusion on it is as follow: the procedures of the self-research which the participant made are the avoidance of self-reflection → encourages → finding out inner child → the re-definition of human relationship → examination of the relationship between paternalistic social system and female physic. This study senses in that we can see possibility of approaching to Feminist counseling and Spiritual counseling. It also has the significant meaning to work the Enneagram but as the tool of the spiritual growth not as the simple personality type.
