예비 특수교사가 인식한 특수교사와 유아교사의 역할이미지 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비 특수교사가 인식하는 특수교사와 유아교사에 대한 역할이미지 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 4년제 S대학교 특수교육과 예비교사 31명을 대상으로 특수교사와 유아교사 이미지를 은유(metaphor)와 이를 설명하는 그림, 텍 스트로 표현하도록 하였다. 수집된 은유, 그림, 텍스트 자료를 중심으로 내용분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비 특수교사가 인식하는 특수교사의 역할이미지는 행동수정전문가, 안내자, 가능성과 잠재력 발견자, 양육자, 발달지원전문가, 개별화교 육전문가, 인내와 도전의 전문가로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비 특수교사가 인식하는 유아 교사의 역할이미지는 안내자, 양육자, 준비교육자, 발견자, 학습의 모델의 이미지로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 예비 특수교사가 인식하는 특수교사와 유아교사의 이미지 특성 분석을 통해 통합교육의 실질적인 성공을 도모하기 위한 시사점을 도출할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study explored the images of special teachers and early childhood teachers perceived by pre-service special teachers. For this purpose, a total of 31 pre-service teachers were sampled through purposive sampling among those students whose major are in Special Education at A University and attending the course of self‐development projects. Participants were surveyed on how they perceived special teachers and early childhood teachers, and differences in their perception were analyzed through hermeneutic interpretation. In the final analysis, data from 30 participants were analyzed. The results of this study summarized as follows. First, the role images of special teachers perceived by pre-service special teachers were behavior modification specialist, guide, possibility and potential discoverer, supporter, developmental support expert, individualized education program expert, patience and challenges expert, etc. Second, the role images of early childhood teachers perceived by pre-service special teachers were guide, supporter, preparation educator, discoverer, class modeler, etc. By analyzing the characteristics of the role images about special teachers and early childhood teachers perceived by pre-service special teachers, implications for the further study discussed about the substantial success of integrated education.
