국문 초록

본 연구는 촉각 기반 점⋅선 표상 수업이 시각장애 학생의 형태인식 능력과 자신감 향상에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 포용적 미술교육 모형을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 ‘H’ 맹학교 초등부 3⋅4학년 학생 7명(전맹 4명, 약시 3명)으로, 총 5회기에 걸쳐 점 스티커, 라인 테이프, 우드락, 철사, 점토, 색상지 등 다양한 다감각 재료를 순차적으로 활용한 조형 활동을 진행하였다. 수업 전 과정에서 생성된 평면드로잉과 입체 조형물을 사진으로 기록하고, 교사 관찰 및 학생 자기평가발화를 질적분석하였다. 연구결과, 시각장애 학생들은 회기별 수업을 거치며 형태인식 과정에서의 자신감과 몰입 수준이 점진적으로 향상되는 경향을 보였다. 이는 촉각 기반 점⋅선 표상 수업이 시각장애 학생의 형태인식 역량과 학습 동기를 동시에 강화함을 보여준다. 결론적으로, 시각장애 학생을 위한 미술교육은 촉각⋅청각⋅언어를 통합한 다감각적 교수법과 개별화된 스캐폴딩, 혼합형 평가 모델, 장기 추적연구 등을 통해 모든 학습자가 자기 주도적 예술 경험과 자신감을 확장할 수 있는 포용적 교육환경으로 발전할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the impact of a tactile dot-and-line curriculum on shape recognition and self-confidence in seven visually impaired students (four blind, three with low vision) in grades 3–4 at ‘H’ School for the Blind. The research also proposed an inclusive framework for art education. Over five sessions, students engaged with diverse tactile materials－including dot stickers, line tape, foam board, wire, clay, and colored paper－creating two-dimensional drawings and three-dimensional sculptures. Their processes were documented through photography and analyzed through teacher observations and student reflections. As the course progressed, students increasingly expressed statements such as “I did it myself.” demonstrating greater engagement with materials and techniques. The results suggest that a tactile-centered dot-and-line curriculum can effectively enhance both shape recognition and learning motivation. We conclude that art education for visually impaired learners should adopt an inclusive model that integrates multisensory methods, personalized scaffolding, blended assessments, and longitudinal approaches to foster autonomous creative practice and self-confidence.
