Purpose: This study was performed to identify the factors influencing parental self-efficacy among Vietnamese immigrant mothers. Methods: A cross-sectional secondary data analysis was conducted. The second wave data from the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS) were utilized. The participants were 548 Vietnamese mothers. The level of parental self-efficacy and the potential influencing variables, such as Korean fluency, acculturation types, acculturative stress, self-esteem, age, the age difference with husband, dwelling area, perceived economic status, overall health status, relationship satisfaction with husband, and the presence of close friends, were evaluated. Exploratory network analysis was employed to visualize the interrelationships among variables. Hierarchical multiple regression was subsequently implemented. Results: Through network analysis, language and cultural factors, psychosocial factors, and sociodemographic factors were identified. In a multiple regression analysis, the strongest predictor of parental self-efficacy was self-esteem (β=.371, p<.001), followed by integration acculturation type (β=.159, p<.001) and acculturative stress (β= .098, p=.024). Conclusion: Specific action plans such as improving Korean language proficiency, promoting social interaction, and providing opportunities to enhance cultural understanding should be implemented to enhance the self-esteem of Vietnamese immigrant women.
