대학교육에서 핵심역량진단 운영절차와 지원전략에 대한 사례 연구

국문 초록

[연구 목적] 본 연구는 A대학에서 미래인재 역량 개발을 목적으로 운영되고 있는 핵심역량진단의 운영 절차를 중심으로, 재학생이 실제로 경험한 사례를 분석하고 이를 토대로 핵심역량진단 운영의 시사점을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. [연구 내용] 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 A대학이 자체적으로 개발한 핵심역량 진단도구 및 시스템을 활용하여 학부생 24명을 대상으로 인터뷰 및 모니터링을 실시하였다. 핵심역량진단 운영은 진단–신청–전문가 컨설팅–사후 관리–만족도 조사로 구성된 단계적 절차를 통해 이루어졌으며, 정기‧수시 진단, 필수․선택 진단 운영 체계, 간명하고 직관적인 결과 리포트 제공, 구조화된 컨설팅 절차 등 다양한 지원 전략이 병행되었다. [결론] 그 결과, 학습자들은 핵심역량 진단 결과의 해석, 컨설팅 과정에서의 재해석, 상담 이후 학습계획의 수정에 이르는 일련의 경험을 통해 자기주도적인 역량 개발 과정을 수행하였다. 또한 컨설턴트의 역할 정립과 전문성 향상을 위한 역량 개발, 사전 교육과 안내자료 제공을 통한 진단 인식 제고 등의 운영 전략이 효과적으로 작용한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 사례연구는 핵심역량 진단 결과의 해석에서 맞춤형 피드백 제공에 이르기까지의 체계적 절차와 구체적인 지원 전략을 실증적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

[Objective] This study explores the operational process of a core competency diagnostic system implemented at University A to support future talent development. Using a case study approach, the research analyzed the experiences of 24 undergraduate students who participated in the system, including diagnosis, expert consulting, and follow-up activities. [Contents] The diagnostic process included regular and optional testing, simplified result reports, and a structured consulting model. Students reported that they were able to interpret their results, reflect on their competencies, and revise their learning plans. Key strategies such as consultant role clarification, professional training, and pre-diagnostic guidance were found to enhance student engagement and understanding. [Conclusions] The findings suggest that a structured and supportive diagnostic system can promote students’ self-awareness and competency development. This case provides a practical model for other universities seeking to implement or improve competency-based education and assessment.
