국내 혁신학교 연구 동향 분석: 2010년~2023년 KCI 등재 학술지 논문을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 혁신학교 연구의 동향을 분석하여 향후 혁신학교 연구 방향에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 2023년까지 KCI 등재 학술지에 게재된 혁신학교 논문 167편에 대해 연도별 게재 빈도, 연구 방법, 연구 대상, 데이터 출처, 연구 대상 학교급, 게재 학술지, 주제어 등 7가지 측면에서 분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 연도별 빈도는 2020년까지 꾸준히 상승하다가 점차 하락하였고, 연구 방법은 초기에는 질적 연구 중심이었으나 점차 양적 연구가 증가하는 모습을 보였다. 연구 대상은 교사, 학생, 교장, 학부모의 순으로 연구가 이루어졌는데 학부모 연구가 매우 적은 수준이었고, 연구 대상별로 적용된 연구 방법에서는 뚜렷한 차이를 보였다. 연구 대상 학교급에서는 초, 중, 고의 순서로 빈도가 많았고, 데이터 출처는 자체 수집이 가장 많았으며 그 뒤를 경기교육종단연구가 이었고 이외 데이터는 소수에 그쳤다. 그리고 총 47개의 다양한 학술지에 논문이 게재되었고, 주제어는 워드 클라우드 분석 결과에서는 다른 분석 영역과 비슷한 결과를 나타냈으나 세부 주제어별 빈도에서는 기존과는 다른 내용이 제시되기도 하였다. 그리고 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 혁신학교 연구의 진행 방향에 대한 논의와 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the trends in research on innovation schools in South Korea and provide insights into the future direction of such research. For this purpose, 167 papers on innovation schools, published in KCI-indexed journals from 2010 to 2023, were analyzed using the following criteria: publication frequency by year, research methods, research subjects, data sources, school levels studied, journals, and keywords. The results showed that the publication frequency steadily increased until 2020 and then gradually declined. Initially, qualitative research methods dominated, but quantitative research methods have gradually increased over time. The research subjects included teachers, students, principals, and parents, with relatively few studies focused on parents. There were distinct differences in research methods applied to different subjects. In terms of school levels, elementary, middle, and high schools were studied in that order of frequency. The most common data sources were self-collected data, followed by data from the Gyeonggi Education Longitudinal Study, with other data sources being less frequently used. The papers were published across 47 different journals. Word cloud analysis of the keywords revealed results similar to other analytical dimensions, but some differences were noted in the frequency of specific sub-keywords. Based on these findings, discussions and suggestions for the future direction of innovation school research were presented.
