해운분야 전문교과 교사의 역량모델 개발 및 역량요구도 분석

국문 초록

기술의 발전과 일터의 변화로 인해 해운분야는 다른 산업의 분야와 동일하게 새로운 요구에 직면해 있다. 이러한 상황은 해당 분야 인력을 양성하는 방식 및 내용과도 밀접한 관련이 있다. 본 연구는 직업교육 분야 중 고등학교 해운분야 전문교과 교사가 갖추어야 할 역량이 무엇인지를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 또한 도출된 역량에 기초하여 해운분야 인력양성과 관련된 집단별 역량요구도를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구결과 학생 지향, 벤치마킹, 국제적 안목, 승선실습운영 관계구축, 외부 네트워킹, 인식변화 유도, 전문성 추구, 목표 지향 등 총 8개의 역량이 고등학교 해운분야 전문교과 교사에게 필요한 역량이라는 사실이 확인되었다. 또한 각 역량별 5개, 총 40개의 행동지표도 도출되었다. 개발된 역량모델을 기초로 해운분야 전문교과 교사의 요구도를 분석한 결과 모든 역량에서 현재 실행 수준과 향후 필요 수준 사이에서 유의미한 차이가 확인되었다. 도출된 역량모델에 대한 해운분야 전문교과 교사, 보통교과 교사, 산업체 재직자를 대상으로 한 역량요구도에 대한 비교분석 결과 8개 역량 중학생 지향, 승선실습운영 관계구축, 외부 네트워킹, 인식변화 유도, 목표 지향 등 5개 역량에서 집단간 중요도 인식 차이가 유의미하게 나타난 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 전문교과 교사와 보통교과 교사가 산업체 재직자에 비해 각 역량에 대한 중요도를 높게 인식한다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 본 연구는 해운분야 인력양성 및 관련 연구에 제공하는 실천적 혹은 이론적 시사점이 무엇인지 파악하였으며, 향후 연구에 대한 제언 등을 제공하고 있다.

영문 초록

Due to technological advancements and changes in the workplace, the maritime industry is facing new demands. The purpose of this study is to identify the competencies that vocational high school teachers specializing in the maritime sector should have. In addition, based on the derived competencies, this study attempted to identify the competency needs of each group related to the training of human resources in the maritime industry. This study conducted competency modeling. The results of the study confirmed that a total of eight competencies, including student orientation, benchmarking, international perspective, relationship building in boarding practice operation, external networking, inducing awareness change, pursuing professionalism, and goal orientation, are the competencies required for specialized subject teachers in the maritime sector. In addition, five behavioral indicators for each competency, a total of 40, were derived. Based on the developed competency model, the analysis of the needs of specialized subject teachers in the maritime sector showed a significant difference between the current implementation level and the future required level in all competencies. The comparative analysis of the competency needs among specialized subject teachers, general subject teachers, and industry workers showed that among the eight competencies, there was a significant difference in the perception of importance between the groups in five competencies: student orientation, relationship building in boarding practice operation, external networking, inducing awareness change, and goal orientation. In particular, it was confirmed that specialized subject teachers in the maritime sector and general subject teachers perceived the importance of each competency to be higher than industry workers. Based on these study results, this study identifies practical or theoretical implications and provides suggestions for future research.
