국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 사회 및 정서발달(공감, 공동체의식)이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 부모자녀의사소통의 매개효과를 검증한 연구이다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널조사(PSKC: Panel Study on Korean Children)의 15차의 공감, 15차 공동체의식, 15차 부모자녀의사소통, 15차 학교적응의 자료를 활용하여 연구하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 공감과 공동체의식은 부모자녀의사소통에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 청소년의 공감과 공동체의식 수준이 높아지면 부모자녀의사소통의 수준이 높아졌다. 둘째, 청소년 공감과 공동체의식의 수준이 높아지면 학교적응의 수준도 높아졌다. 셋째, 부모자녀의사소통은 청소년 공감과 공동체의식이 학교적응에 관계에서 완전 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 공감과 공동체의식을 높이고 부모자녀의사소통의 수준을 높이는 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study verifies the mediating effect of parent-child communication in the effect of adolescents' social and emotional development (empathy, community consciousness) on school adaptation. The study was conducted using data from the 15th empathy, 15th community consciousness, 15th parent-child communication, and 15th school adaptation of the Korean Children's Panel Survey (PSKC). The research results are as follows. First, adolescents' empathy and community consciousness had a significant influence on parent-child communication. As the level of empathy and community consciousness among adolescents increased, the level of communication between parents and children increased. Second, as the level of youth empathy and community consciousness increased, the level of school adaptation also increased. Third, in the communication of parents and children, the complete mediating effect was statistically significant in the relationship between youth empathy and community consciousness to school adaptation. Based on these results, measures to increase youth empathy and community consciousness and to increase the level of communication between parents and children were suggested.
