치매 환자의 개별적 치료접근과 그룹 치료접근의 효과성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 경도인지장애를 가진 노인을 대상으로 개별적 치료 접근과 그룹 치료 접근의 효과성을비교하고, 인지기능, 우울, 삶의 질 측면에서의 중재 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 경남 00시에 거주하고 있는 노인 중 경도인지장애 진단을 받고 6개월 이상 경과한 치매노인 30명을 선별하여 연구를 진행하였다. 지역사회에 거주하고 있는 경도인지장애 노인을 대상으로하여 개별적 치료접근군과 그룹치료접근군을 각 15명씩 선정하여 4주 기간 동안 주 2회씩 총 8회기(회당 30분)를 적용하였다. 연구결과: 그룹치료접근과 개별치료접근의 중재전후 효과에 있어서는 인지기능, 우울, 삶의 질 영역에서 그룹치료접근과 개별치료접근이 다 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 나타내었다. 집단 간 중재전후 변화량을 비교한 결과는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 결론: 본 연구는 지역사회 내 경도인지장애 노인을 대상으로 개별 접근과 그룹 접근의 효과성을 직접 비교분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 크다.

영문 초록

Objective : This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of individual and group therapy approaches for older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and to examine the intervention effects in terms of cognitive function, depression, and quality of life. Methods : A total of 30 elderly individuals diagnosed with MCI for more than six months, residing in 00 City, Gyeongnam, were selected for the study. Participants were randomly assigned to either the individual therapy group or the group therapy group, with 15 participants in each group. The intervention program was conducted twice a week for four weeks, totaling eight sessions, with each session lasting 30 minutes. Results : Both individual and group therapy approaches showed statistically significant improvements in cognitive function, depression, and quality of life after the intervention. However, there was no statistically significant difference in the amount of change between the two groups. Conclusion : This study is meaningful in that it directly compared and analyzed the effectiveness of individual and group therapy approaches for community-dwelling older adults with mild cognitive impairment.
