국문 초록

본 연구는 그림책 봉사활동에 나타난 예비유아교사의 정서를 탐색해보고자 하였다. 본 연구현장은 G광역시 남구에 위치한 국공립어린이집 2곳이며, 연구 대상자는 G대학교 유아교육과에 재학 중인 1-3학년 10명이다. 예비유아교사들의 저널을 토대로 자료를 수집한 결과 ‘교실 공간으로의 두려움과 설레임의 교차’, ‘유아와 상호작용하면서 오는 큰 기쁨과 행복’, ‘실제 속에서 느껴지는 어려움과 실망’, ‘그림책 봉사활동에 대한 자신감과 뿌듯함’, ‘교사로서의 기대감과 만족감’으로 범주화되었다. 본 연구에 참여한 예비유아교사는 그림책 봉사활동을 통해서 유아들과 관계맺음을 하고 상호작용을 하면서 부정적, 긍정적 정서를 경험하고 이러한 경험을 통해 교사로서 성장 해 나갈 수 있음을 알 수 있으며, 더불어 교사로서의 진로와 정체성에 대한 확립에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 교육현장과 교원양성기관이 함께 협력하여 학생들이 교육적으로 질 높은 관계를 맺을 수 있도록 지원하는 방안을 지속적으로 모색해 나갈 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the emotions experienced by pre-service early childhood teachers during picture book volunteer work. The research was conducted at two national public daycare centers in Nam-gu, G Metropolitan City, South Korea. Data were collected through journal entries written by the pre-service teachers. The findings were categorized into four themes: "The Intersection of Fear and Excitement in the Classroom," "Great Joy and Happiness from Interacting with Infants," "Confidence and Pride in Their Activities," and "Confirmation of Expectations and Identity as a Teacher." Participants reported experiencing a mix of negative and positive emotions as they built relationships and interacted with children through the volunteer program. These emotional experiences contributed significantly to their professional growth, influencing their career paths and reinforcing their identities as teachers. The findings highlight the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and teacher training programs to support pre-service teachers in fostering high-quality educational relationships. This partnership can play a pivotal role in preparing future educators for the challenges and rewards of teaching.
