교류통합프로그램이 장애 유아의 사회적 상호작용과 일반 유아의 장애수용태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

통합교육은 기관에 따라 다양한 형태로 운영되고 있으며 운영형태에 따라 다양한 프로그램이 적용되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 유아특수교육기관과 일반유아교육기관 간 교류통합프로그램이 장애 유아의 또래에 대한 사회적 상호작용과 일반 유아의 장애수용태도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보기 위함이다. 연구를 위하여 장애아전문 어린이집 교사 2명과 장애 유아 4명이 참여했으며 일반 어린이집의 5세 1개 반 26명의 또래 유아와 2명의 교사가 참여하였다. 교류통합프로그램은 4개월간 14회기가 실행되었으며 이를 위해 장애아전문 어린이집에 재원 하는 장애 유아가 일반 어린이집에 1주에 1회 방문하였다. 그 결과 장애 유아의 또래 상호작용이 증가하였으나 일반 유아의 수용태도를 나타내는 수용도는 유의미하게 높아지지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아특수교육기관과 일반유아교육기관과의 교류통합교육을 계획하고 실행하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Inclusion has been implemented to types of programs and practices which vary depending on the organizations. This study focused on an inter-visiting inclusion program between early childhood special education child-care centers and general daycare centers, to learn the effects on social interactions of children with disabilities and their peer's acceptance of children with disabilities. In this study, four young children with disabilities and their two teachers, and 26 young children and their two teachers participated. The interventions were applied when the children with disabilities made weekly visits to the general child-care center, which was 14 times in total over four months. Although, this has resulted in no meaningful changes in peer acceptance, children with disabilities showed increased social interactions. As a result, a segregated special education and general education practitioner may find this inclusion program as an effective program for inter-visiting inclusive education.
