인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정이 유아의 자아개념 및 조망수용 능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정이 유아의 자아개념, 조망수용능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 P시에 소재한 W어린이집의 만 5세 2학급의 유아 40명(실험집단 20명, 비교집단 20명)을 대상으로 실험집단은 인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정을 비교집단은 생활주제 관련 그림책을 활용한 누리과정 활동을 2015년 11월 16일부터 2016년 2월 5일까지 16회 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 활용한 자아개념 검사도구는 임춘금(1995)이 Bentley와 Yeatts(1974)의 자아개념 검사를 번역·수정한 도구를 사용하였고, 유아의 조망수용능력 검사 도구는 신현옥(1995)이 Hudson, Forman과 Brion(1982)의 도구를 수정·보완한 것을 사용하였다.본 연구 결과 첫째, 인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정은 유아의 자아개념과 자아개념 하위요인을 증진시키는데 효과적으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정은 유아의 조망수용능력과 조망수용능력 하위요인을 증진시키는데 효과적으로 나타났다.결론적으로 인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정은 유아의 자아개념 및 조망수용능력 증진에 효과적인 프로그램임을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 인성그림책을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 과정이 유아인성교육 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The objective of this research was to identify the effect of the creative problem solving process using personality picture book upon child's self-conception and perspective-taking ability. The subjects this study included forty 5-year-old children in 2 classes at the W child care center, located in P city. Experimental group(20) carryied out the creative problem solving process using a picture book related to personality education. The comparative group(20) did carried out the general activity using a picture book related to a life theme. The instrument to measure self-conception was the self-conception test of Bentley and of Yeatts (1974) which Lim Chun Geum (1995) translated and corrected. The instrument to measure a child’s perspective-taking ability is the tool of Hudson, Forman and Brion (1982) which Shin Hyeon Ok (1995) corrected and complemented. This research conducted from November 16, 2015 to February 5, 2016. In this study, thd interventions were carried out 16 times.The result of this research was follows: First, the result of the post-test for the experimental and comparative group carried out showed that the experimental group’s self-conception had a statistically significant difference. The experimental group had a statistically higher difference in cognitive, emotional, social and physical self-conception, which is the sub-domain of a child’s self-conception, than that of the comparative group.Second, the experimental group’s perspective taking ability had a statistically significant difference. The experimental group showed and improved perspective taking ability for intention, thinking and emotion, as well as for the sub-domain of a child’s perceptive perspective taking ability, than that of the comparative group.
