‘3-5세 연령별 누리과정’ 만 5세 수학적 탐구하기와 ‘수학과 교육과정’ 초등 1학년 연계성 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 3-5세 연령별 누리과정 5세 수학적 탐구하기와 초등 1학년 수학교육과정의 연계성이 어떠한지를 살펴보는 것이다. 각 교육과정의 목표, 내용, 교수·학습방법 및 평가의 연계정도와 연계형태를 계열성과 계속성, 역행, 격차, 소멸의 다섯가지 준거요소를 토대로 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 두 교육과정의 목표, 내용, 교수 학습 목표, 목표의 연계정도와 연계형태는 높은 수준을 보였다. 목표는 수학과 교육과정의 초등학교 목표가 더 세부적이면서 포괄적으로 진술되고 있어 연계성이 높았다. 내용은 계속성과 계열성이 높아 전반적으로 높은 연계성을 보였고, 비연계로 분석된 부분은 교육과정 상에 언급이 되지 않을 뿐 다른 교과목이나 활동 전반에 포함되어 있었다. 교수학습 방법은 교육과정상에서는 연계 수준이 낮았으나 지도 지침 및 유의점에서는 활동의 연계가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 평가는 연계성의 수준이 중간인 것으로 나타났다. 평가 방법이 다양해지고 세분화되었지만 그 평가의 활용부분에서는 유아교육보다 더 좁아지기 때문이다. 연구 결과, 유아교육과 초등 1학년 수학교육의 연계성은 과거 교육과정에 비해 증진되었으며, 특히 3-5세 연령별 누리과정은 개정중점에서도 밝혔듯이 초등학교 1학년과의 연계 뿐 만 아니라, 3, 4, 5세 끼리의 연계성도 고려하여 과거에 비해 수학교육실천의 연계 가능성이 크게 높아 졌음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the articulations between the Mathematical Exploratory areas for age 5 in the 3-5 years old Nuri Curriculum and the first grade in Math Curriculum. Four curriculum elements, which are objectives of education, educational content, teaching-learning methods and educational evaluations, are analyzed in both curriculum by 5 criteria, which are continuance, sequence, retrogression, disparity, and extinction. The results of this study were as follows: As a whole the degree of articulations was high in every part in 3-5 years Nuri Curriculum and first grade in Math Curriculum. Objectives in Math Curriculum are more inclusive and detailed than 3-5 years Nuri Curriculum. Most educational content has high degree articulations, but some categories do not. It is because it is not stated in the official curriculum. The content which is not stated in the official curriculum is passed over potentially in 3-5 years old Nuri Curriculum and Math Curriculum. Teaching-learning methods have a low degree of articulations yet, in remarks on a map are shown differently. They are well-coordinated. In this case, it’s caused by different comparison units. Educational evaluations had a middle degree of articulations. These evaluation methods are more detailed and extensive, nevertheless the application scope is limited in Math Curriculum. In conclusion, 3-5 years old Nuri Curriculum and the First grade Math Curriculum are higher than former curriculums. Especially, since 3-5 years old Nuri - Curriculum has strong articulation between 3-4 years and 5years old too, there is a good possibility of articulation in Math Curriculum.
