다문화 가정 이주여성의 한국적응교육 방안 모색 : 반성적 그림책 읽기 활동의 교육적 의미

국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화가정 이주여성의 한국적응을 위한 교육방안의 하나로 반성적 그림책읽기활동을 실시하여 언어와 관계의 두 측면에서의 교육적 의미를 탐색하고자 하였다. 리듬과 반복, 의성어와 의태어가 많고 누적적 이야기로 구성된 영유아용 그림책 5권을 사용하여 8회에 걸친 반성적 그림책 읽기활동이 이루어졌으며 활동의 전 과정을 비디오 촬영하였다. 비디오내용을 전사한 자료, 활동과정에서 연구자, 교사, 이주여성이 함께 작업한 결과물들, 이주여성이 가정에서 수행해온 결과물들과 이주여성을 대상으로 한 인터뷰 내용 등을 분석하였다. 분석의 결과 반성적 그림책 읽기활동의 교육적 의미는 언어적 측면에서 부정확한 발음 인식하고 수정하기, 문맥 속에서 새로운 어휘와 다양한 표현방법 배우기에 도움을 주었고 가족들과의 관계적 측면에서 그림책을 이용하여 자녀와 놀이하는 방법 배우기, 생각, 느낌, 감정을 표현하는 기회를 통해 가족의 소중함 느끼기, 자녀를 이해하고 가르치는 기회 갖기 등에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The Purpose of this study is to investigate the educational meanings of linguistic and relational sides by reflective reading activities with picture books as one of the education tools for adapting to life in Korea for immigrated women from multi-cultural family. Five picture books for young children were selected for this study, those are using rhythm, repetition expression and including onomatopoeic and mimetic words, consisting with accumulative stories. The reading activities with these five books were carried out and the whole process was recorded by camcorder. The materials of recorded reading process, the result of works among the researcher, teachers, and immigrated women, homeworks and records of interviews with teachers and immigrated women were collected and analyzed. As the result of the study, the educational meanings of reflective reading activities with picture books for immigrated women were proved as follows: 1. Recognizing and correcting inaccurate pronunciation and learning new vocabularies and various expressions of Korean in a linguistic aspect. 2. Learning ways of playing with children with picture books, thinking a significance of family by means of expressing their thoughts, feelings and emotions, and also understanding and teaching their children in the related aspect.
