노인이 인식한 주택개조필요성 유형화 및 영향요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인이 인식한 주택개조필요성의 특성을 유형화하고 관련 요인을 분석하여 초고령 사회를 대비한 노인 주거복지서비스에 대한 정책적 함의를 도출하는 데 연구목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 국토교통부에서 위탁받아 국토연구원과 한국리서치에서 조사를 실시한 주거실태조사에 응답한 13,145명의 노인이다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 26, M-plus 8.0 프로그램을 통해 기술적 통계분석, 잠재계층분석, 다항로지스틱 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 먼저 잠재계층분석을 통해 노인의 주택개조필요성 인식을 유형화한 결과, 1집단은 전반적 지원추구형, 2집단은 응급대비형, 3집단은 전반적 저수준, 4집단은 안전예방추구형, 5집단은 일상생활지원추구형으로 구분되었다. 그리고 전반적으로 요구가 적은 것으로 나타난 3집단(전반적 저수준)을 참조집단으로 하여, 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 연령, 소득, 학력, 주택건설연도, 자가여부, 지역, 자산, 장애여부 등이 유의한 예측요인임을 확인하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 기반으로 본 연구는 노인 주택개조사업을 진행하는 데 있어 고려해야 할 한국 노인의 인식 수준, 그리고 대상자 선별을 위한 예측요인에 관한 시사점을 논의하였다. 본 연구는 초고령사회가 다가오는 한국 사회에서 실제 서비스를 받게 될 노인들의 인식을 유형화하였다는 점, 그리고 예측요인 분석을 통해 다양한 제도적, 연구적 시사점을 제언하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to classify the perceived need for home modifications among the elderly and analyze the factors influencing these perceptions, with the goal of providing policy recommendations for elderly housing welfare services in anticipation of a super-aged society. The study utilized data from 13,145 elderly participants in the Housing Survey conducted by the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements and Hankook Research, commissioned by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. Descriptive statistical analysis, latent class analysis, and multinomial logistic regression analysis were performed using SPSS 26 and M plus 8.0. The findings are as follows: First, the latent class analysis identified five types of perceived need for home modifications among the elderly: overall support seekers, emergency preparedness, overall low-level need, safety prevention seekers, and daily life support seekers. Using the overall low-level needs group (Group 3) as a reference, a multinomial logistic regression analysis identified age, income, education level, year of house construction, homeownership status, region, assets, and disability status as significant predictors of perceived need. Based on these results, the study discusses the implications of the eldery’s perception levels for implementing elderly home modification projects, as well as the factors to consider when selecting target beneficiaries. This study is significant in that it categorizes the perceptions of the elderly population expected to receive services in the forthcoming super-aged Korean society, and offers various institutional and research implications based on ananalysis of predictive factors.
