디지털 심화 시대를 위한 ASSURE 모형 개선 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 인간과 디지털 기술이 공존하는 디지털 심화 시대에 대응할 수 있도록 매체 활용 교수설계 모형인 ASSURE 모형을 개선하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교육의 디지털 혁신이 어느 때 보다도 강조되고 있지만, 디지털 활용 수업에서 학습자가 경험하는 테크노스트레스, 테크놀로지로 인한 불필요한 인지부하 등의 문제는 디지털 교육의 확산을 방해하는 요인으로 작용한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 디지털 시대의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 관점으로 과제-테크놀로지 적합(Task-Technology Fit) 모형, 그리고 디지털 활용 교육 관련 선행연구를 바탕으로 ASSURE 모형을 개선하였다. 개선된 ASSURE 모형 초안에 관해 5인의 전문가를 대상으로 내적타당화를 위한 검토를 2차례 진행하고, 초중등 교사 4인을 대상으로 사용성 평가를 진행하여 개선된 ASSURE 모형의 최종안을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 개선한 ASSURE 모형의 설계 단계별 주요 특징은 다음과 같다. 학습자 분석 단계에는 학습자의 디지털 리터러시와 학습자간 디지털 격차를 분석한다. 교육목표 설정 단계에는 수업목표와 디지털 교육과의 연계성을 판단하도록 하고, 이를 최종 수업목표에 반영하도록 한다. 방법･매체･자료 활용 단계에는 학습과제를 설계한 다음, 학습자 특성-학습과제-테크놀로지의 적합성을 판단하여 이를 바탕으로 테크놀로지를 선정한다. 매체와 자료의 활용, 학습자 참여 유도 단계에는 디지털 활용 교육에서 발생할 수 있는 문제를 예방하고 해결하기 위한 전략을 실행한다. 마지막 단계인 평가와 수정 단계에는 학습자의 성취, 그리고 테크놀로지의 적합성에 관해 평가한다. 결론에서는 이와 같은 모형의 의의와 제한점을 논의하고 후속연구에 관해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to improve the ASSURE model, the instructional design model for media utilization, to respond to the era of digital sophistication where human and digital technologies coexist. Although digital transformation in education is being emphasized more than ever, problems such as technostress and unnecessary cognitive load caused by technology in classes are hindering the spread of digital education. In order to address these issues, this study revised the ASSURE model based on the Task-Technology Fit model and prior research on digital education to reflect the characteristics of the digital age. The draft of the improved ASSURE model was reviewed twice by five experts for internal validation and usability evaluation by four elementary and secondary school teachers to derive the final version of the improved ASSURE model. The main features of the design phase of the improved ASSURE model in this study are as follows. In the first step (Analyze learners), learners' digital literacy and the digital gap between learners are analyzed. Then, the next step (State objectives) the determination of the linkage between the objectives and digital education, which is then reflected in the final objectives. In the third step (Select method, media, marieals), the learning task is designed, and then the technology is selected based on the suitability of learner characteristics, learning tasks, and technology. In the fourth and fifth step (Utilize media and materials, and Require learner participation), implement strategies to prevent and solve problems that may arise in digital utilization. In the final step (Evaluate and revise), learners' achievement and the appropriateness of the technology are evaluated. In the conclusion, the significance and limitations of the model are discussed and suggestions for further research are made.
