아동의 공격성 예측 도구로서의 손검사

국문 초록

본 연구는 손검사를 아동의 공격성 예측 도구로 활용할 수 있는가를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 P시에 거주하는 초등학교 4-6학년생 532명(남 250명, 여 283명)이다. 측정 도구는 손검사와 공격성 척도이며, 검사는 2020년 11월에 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 손검사의 반응과 공격성 척도의 관련성 및 관련성의 정도를 파악하기 위하여 정준상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 손검사 변인들과 공격성 척도 변인들 간에는 상관이 있었으며, 이들 가운데 손검사의 공격적 행동점수(AOS), 병리점수(PATH), 철회(WITH) 변인과 공격성 척도의 적대감과 분노감 및 행동적 공격성 변인은 유의미한 상관이 있었으며, 공격성 척도의 변인군에 대한 손검사 변인군의 설명력은 21.3%로 나타났다. 따라서 손검사의 AOS, PATH, WITH는 아동의 공격성을 예측하는 유의미한 변인이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 손검사는 한국 아동의 공격성을 예측하는 도구로 활용할 수 있음이 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

This paper addressed the application of the Hand Test as an aggression prediction tool for children. Participants included 532 elementary school students (250 males, 282 females) from grades four to six, The Hand Test and the Aggression Scale were administered as measurement tools in November 2020. Data analysis was performed using canonical correlation analysis to understand the correlation and the degree of correlation between responses to the Hand Test and the Aggression Scale. The results were as follows: There was a correlation between the variables of the Hand Test and the variables of the Aggression Scale, and the AOS, PATH, and WITH of the Hand Test and the hostility, anger, and behavior aggression of the Aggression Scale were significantly related. The explanation power of the Hand Test variables for the Aggression Scale was 21.3%. Therefore, the AOS, PATH, and WITH of the Hand Test were significant variables that predicted korean children’s aggression. In conclusion, this study indicated that the Hand Test can be a useful tool to predict children’s aggression.
