학교장의 학교민원 해결 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한 학교장의 학교와 관련하여 발생할 수 있는 각종 민원을 지혜롭게 해결한 경험에 대해 심도 있게 탐구하여 학교민원 해결에 결정적 역할을 하는 요소들이 어떤 것인지를 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 수행하기 위해 연구자가 제기한 구체적인 연구문제는 첫째, 학교민원 해결에 영향을 미치는 과정과 원리는 무엇인가? 둘째, 학교민원이 연구 참여자에게 어떤 의미가 있는가? 이다. 연구자는 학교라는 공간에서 구성원들의 다양한 이해관계로 발생할 수 있는 여러 가지 민원을 해결한 학교장 중 5년 이상의 교장 경력과 교육청에서 다년간 교육전문직 경험이 있는 한 명을 연구 참여자로 정하여 그의 경험을 내러티브 탐구방법으로 연구하였다. 본 연구는 연구 참여자의 성찰적 경험을 수집하고 분석하면서 그가 남들과 다른 자신만의 고유한 교육철학적 내러티브의 삶을 살아가고 있다는 것을 알게 되었다. 연구자는 본 연구를 통해 학교 교육과 관련한 민원을 접하는 학교장 또는 교육행정가가 가져야 할 교육적 철학과 가치를 민원인 눈높이에서 실천하는 것이 민원 해결 또는 해소에 큰 도움을 줄 수 있다는 확신을 갖게 되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore in-depth the experience of a principal in wisely solving various civil complaints that may occur in connection with a school and to understand what factors play a decisive role in solving school civil complaints. The specific research puzzles raised by the researcher to carry out the research objectives is, first, what are the processes and principles that affect the resolution of school complaints? Second, what do school complaints mean to the research participant? The researcher studied his experience as a method of narrative exploration by selecting one person who has more than five years of experience as principal and multi-year experience in the metropolitan and district office of education as a research participant, who is chosen among school principals who have solved various complaints related to school. This study, collecting and analyzing research participants experiences, found that he was living a life of his own unique educational philosophy narratives that were different from others. Through this study, the researcher was convinced that practicing educational philosophy and values that the school principal or educational administrator should have in the eyes of the civil petitioner could greatly help solve or resolve school civil complaints.
