대학생 핵심역량 진단도구 개발 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 A대학에서 설정하고 있는 6대 핵심역량의 취지와 명칭을 유지하면서 그에 맞는 타당하고 신뢰로운 진단도구를 개발하는 것이다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌 연구, 전문가 20명의 타당성 검토, 대학생 500명을 대상으로 실시한 검사 데이터를 활용한 확인적 요인분석, 다집단-확인적 요인분석 등 통계분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 최종도구는 핵심역량별로 10~16개의 문항, 총 83개 문항으로 구성되었다. 최종도구의 신뢰도는 α=.979로 매우 높은 수준이며, 확인적 요인분석 결과 핵심역량과 하위영역간 요인구조는 모형 적합도 지수와 CR 수치가 일반적인 기준값에 비추어 우수하였다. 또한 하위영역이라는 측정변인과 핵심역량이라는 잠재변수간의 경로계수가 p<.05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의하고 표준화계수가 높으므로 타당도가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 모형의 학년별 적합도에 대하여 다집단-확인적 요인분석으로 검증한 결과, 학년 간 요인구조가 같고, 내재모형 안에서 형태, 측정, 절편, 분산/공분산 동일성이 성립됨을 알 수 있어 전 학년에서 모두 활용할 수 있는 도구임을 확인하였다. 끝으로, 연구 결과 활용의 측면에서, 대학에서 겪는 역량기반 교육의 어려움과 한계, 그리고 학생 피드백 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop an appropriate instrument for the six core competencies established in College A while maintaining the purpose and title of the core competencies. The research method were ‘literature study’, ‘experts reviews’, ‘statistical analysis such as reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and multi-group confirmatory factor analysis’. As the result of this study, the final instrument was composed of a total of 83 questions with 10-16 items for each core competency. The reliability for the final instrument was a=.979, proving the instrument to be highly reliable. The confirmatory factor analysis results showed that the factor structure between the core competencies and subcategories had a higher than average model fit and CR value. With the subcategories as a test value and core competencies as a latent variable, the path coefficient p < .05 proves to be statistically significant, and the high standardized coefficient proves a high level of validity. In addition, the results of a multi-group confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor structure was the same for each group, and the intrinsic model showed that the structure, measurement, intercept, dispersion/covariance were in uniformity, indicating that the assessment tool could be used for all college grade levels. Finally, in terms of utilizing research results, the difficulties and limitations of competency-based education in universities and student feedback methods were discussed.
